  1. Ronaldo and objectivity when it comes to Peter Lovenkrands..
  2. How is Young not booked for diving..?
  3. We got picked apart completely after they scored their first and we had to go more direct/commit more men forward. They could easily have had 2 or 3 more.
  4. If you watch that moment again, pay attention to Aguero holding back Colo for a second, which translates into Colo arriving just too late to block Yaya's shot. Devil's in the detail Was clearly visible on MOTD. Not a foul of course, but certainly not a defensive error..

They signed a virtually new team that got them all excited and now they proclaim they need a virtually new team again..

An insightful piece into the way O'Neil operated at Villa (admittedly before it all went sour). It's longer than 3 lines, so no mackem is bothered to read it.. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=697978
  9. Don't think it will. Maybe somebody can confirm?
  10. My only disappointment is City didn't crumble under the pressure of having to win, which I was fairly confident they would. Fair play to them for keeping it together. As for us, we did everything we could and should have no regrets.

  12. Full time. Good result for us. Need to win our match and hope Arsenal lose and/or Spurs draw or lose..
  13. How can you be bitter? When we pushed men forward they counter-attacked us to death. If we had done that from the beginning then we would have been f***ed. It was an excellent game plan but the execution was just short. If we had held out for five more minutes, they would have had to push up and who knows what could happen. We certainly weren't going to beat them going head on. Did you watch them dominate against Man Utd? Absolutely. They had already just subbed Dzeko on seconds before they scored. If we could have held on for 5 or 10 more minutes who knows what may have happened with the space they were bound to conceed at the back in search of a breakthrough. I don't think we have to feel sorry for ourselves at all. We've had a brilliant season and held strong today. We were just beaten by a better side, one that was assembled at an unreal cost too.
  14. Harsh as f***. You realise we are playing the champions elect who have a 0.5 billion squad at their disposal yes? There's a point that we have been too safe, we've really given other massive teams a go during the season. I think the approach has generally been right today but just a little too conservative. Contain them until late in the game where they would need to commit men forward and try and hit them on the break seems like a very sensible game plan to me.
  15. Full time. Good effort, proud of the lads, shame it wasn't to be.
