  1. He’s put his bairn in a Cantona onesie FFS.
  2. @brummie is a class act, happy for him if Villa pull this off. They've had enough of the same shit peddled at them that we have over the last decade. More teams breaking up the 'Big 6', the better, I say. It's better for the game if the elitism is removed.
  3. We took everything from him. Fuck pizza, we’re dinning on his soul tonight.
  4. I love him, trying to drown it out with his earbuds in.
  5. This is tasty: Parker didn't even make it out of August. That's 4 sackings so far, up 50% from last year. Whew! Last year: XISCO MUNOZ (WATFORD) – OCTOBER 3, 2021 STEVE BRUCE (NEWCASTLE) – OCTOBER 20, 2021 ----------------------------------------------------------- NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO (TOTTENHAM) – NOVEMBER 1, 2021 DANIEL FARKE (NORWICH) – NOVEMBER 6, 2021 DEAN SMITH (ASTON VILLA) – NOVEMBER 7, 2021 (Gerrard sacked less than a year on.) OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER (MANCHESTER UNITED) – NOVEMBER 21, 2021 RAFA BENITEZ (EVERTON) – JANUARY 16, 2022 CLAUDIO RANIERI (WATFORD) – JANUARY 24, 2022 MARCELO BIELSA (LEEDS) – FEBRUARY 27, 2022 SEAN DYCHE (BURNLEY) – APRIL 15, 2022 10 bit the dust last year. @brummie Who do you prefer? What about some outside of the League names? Peter Bosz, David Wagner (did well with Hudder's), Domenico Tedesco?
  6. The last time I watched WWE, Shawn Micheals had the same hair and finishing move.
  7. I'd be shocked if Pep & Klopp have free reign on transfers. Influence? Most definitely, probably more than most, but both of those Football clubs are Enterprise level operations like you've described and will have worked out a business case for adding each player, even a no-brainer like Haaland.
  8. He’s not smart enough or bothered. He was an unbelievable player, but he’s clearly not going to be a very good manager. I can’t picture him sitting a room with a bunch of sports data scientists plotting out formation, tactics, etc.
  9. Away fans chanting for Marcelo Bielsa.
  10. My favourite N-O subculture is our fashion critiquing. Think we need a Fashion Council - Football Edition thread.
  11. He's the manager, of course it's his mess. @brummie, get ready for the barrage of excuses from Gerrard sympathizers.
  12. Yup. They were really exciting a few seasons ago, but weren't able to sustain the momentum once Nuno left. Lage had his moments of quality, all went a bit pear shaped at Wolves.
  13. Better to stabilize after getting turned down left, right and centre. Slightly embarrassing for Wolves.
  14. I love it, we're quite relevant again, are near the top of the table and are going to shake up the status quo. These are all the same assholes that wanted to run a 'Super League' to rake in more money. THEY CAN ALL GET TO FUCK.
  15. Now compare how Beale's handled himself to Gerrard recently. Class act is Beale.
  16. She'd lost the dressing room with her lack of tactics and formational u-turns. Shame.
  17. Think it will serve him better in the long run if he's able to get QPR promoted over a mid table finish with Wolves. I'd imagine turning Wolves down is a statement of intent.

    Yeah, definitely an advantage.
  19. Winning 19 games at Southampton was lucky? The Hoss has a better squad than Poch did and he’s taken some absolute pastings as manager. He will absolutely have Villa top 10 if they manage to get him. Especially given a transfer window and some of their key players like Digne back.
  20. He got Southampton 68pts before going to Spurs. There's enough talent at Villa to get them up the table.
  21. Goodbye QPR promotion. I'd want stupid money to release him if I'm them. I like Carrick and wish him well.
