Foster has been solid when Arsenal haven't cocked it up.

And how about NUFC ?!? Who are 10x more mad to watch and follow. It's different. We are more unpredictable and this develops a curiosity element. You know Arsenal will play basic football, which is absolutely amazing to watch, but they nearly always try and walk the ball in. Funnily enough, now they're shooting willy-nilly and could have scored several times immediately as a result. Sums up my view nicely, thanks mate.

At least we go out in the 2nd round of competitions without a sniff of success.
-
Johnson is fucking scum.
-
How frustrating are Arsenal? I'd go mad following them.
-
He's English and he's good. He's having a bad game imo. Does absolutely nothing defensively and loses the ball all the time. RVP coming off, he's turning into fucking Owen, man.
-
End to end stuff, quite entertaining. Wish Arsenal would shoot more, FFS.
-
Cause he's good? and English? edit: Neesy beat me to it.
-
Wide open now, great for the neutral.
-
Wow, Arsenal back line exposed badly there.
-
Decent point, were there for the taking if we had 11 on the pitch. 1 pt behind the scum, I'll take it!!!

I read this messageboard for months(mainly in lead up to the 5-1 game) and just continued reading and then someone posted that not many Sunderland fans got on here so I registered. I like it because it's clearly very well moderated and I don't have to trail through hundreds of the same threads,it's a good layout IMO. I try not and go on threads mainly related to Newcastle because if I say something against the general opinion I would just get accused of being bitter, obsessed etc etc but I do read most of the threads. I think you're a funny fuck and probably in the %5 of Mackems that haven't been touched with the down's. Post more, man, I'd rather read your jibs than some of the kneejerking that goes on here. There was another Mackem at one time who was a decent chap, think he went by SAFC as a handle. Anyways, get to fuck, you SMB.

"Jonathan Woodgate, making a first appearance for 15 months in that match, sustained a strain of the left Adductor muscle, a scan has confirmed this evening." Retirement time...

I'd like to know what his definition of success is. Imagine if Ashley said he despises us? Riot inducing.

I seem to remember being there when Oba scored to make it 3-1 Beautiful day of party tent madness. I seem to remember when we won 3-0 with Shearer and Owen both scoring. When the crying welshman was in charge. Recall we didn't play too well that match, either. A repeat performance would do me just fine! We were dire that match. Very flattering 0-3. Zog scored a great goal where he rolled it round the keeper IIRC. That was a brilliant goal and Mikey Owen's first goal for us. Then everything went downhill.

Really came out of his 'shell' since Big Sam left. Not surprisingly. Rated that lad for a couple of years. He was their best player when they came up here earlier in the season. Me too, he's a good play maker. He wasn't really allowed to roam much with Fat Sam in charge, Blackburn were probably the worst choice of Premiership club he could have gone too. I would love to see what he could create with a half decent well attacking team around him. To be fair to the lad, he joined them in 2003 at the age of 13. Unless he's Nostradamus you can't really blame the kid for failing to predict that Allardyce would be in charge just as he broke into the first team. Just trying to get the message that he never got the chance to actually play like he should have done under Allardyce, and that if he was in a different team then it would be interesting to see what he could do. Wish he'd play for Canada, the Jamaican's aren't much better than us. What's the difference between 59th and 80th? He is going to play for Canada isn't he? As far as I know, he hasn't made up his mind. It would do big things for our s**** national team. Players like Hargreaves wouldn't be so apt to leave and play for England. Mind, I'd use my Geordie heritage to play for England if I had the chance. Haha. It's a shame you've missed out on Hargreaves and Jonathan De Guzman. Add them two to the likes of Julian de Guzman, De Rosario, Hutchinson etc and there is the makings of a decent midfield there at CONCACAF level. Being successful at CONCACAF would do wonders for attendance at the National level. It's annoying as piss when I show up to a match and 3/4 of the stadium are cheering for the visiting nation. Boils my piss that people born here would cheer against their own.

He was very soothing with me when I rang up in 1988 to tell him I had moved to the city as a student ("From your accent, I can tell you're not from the north east, am I right?") and had been placed in a house in Jesmond with five predatory homosexual students who were making my life hell. I was exceptionally drunk. LOL! Did they breach your hull?

Gazza's the best comparison. Hardly on the scene 5 minutes and whisked off. NE5 was right when he said that it was only under Shepherd when this sort of s*** didnt happen. Woodgate to Real Madrid? Most thought that was a good bit of business and it turned out to be.
