If we start slowly and look hesitant and are too rigid I fear the worst. The players have to feel this is a fresh start and every game is winnable. There is more than enough resources now to put points on the board. But pard must be brave, he must give the players confidence and freedom. We'll see.

To be fair, just saying he is "proud" doesn't mean he is actually proud...but in general he seems on a more even keel with regard to attitude. We liked Remy's dancing and G-ness, but Gouffran will be better suited to our side at the moment, and to be fair, for £1.3mil, is practically a free player! Didn't Williamson cost £2mil? If he even get half a dozen goals and a few assists he'll be a massive bargain.

If we play the right way then only one front line striker should be starting. Gouffran and Hatem should play behind and to the right and left. Ideally one more striker would be good for insurance. But for a top class one it might be the summer. Do we have enough to stay up? If Sissoko was able to play straight away I'd say yes, but other than that I'm not totally sure.

Bringing in Anita has not made a difference and he plays the same role. If we sign Sissoko we'll have him, Tiote, Anita, Perch all cabable of playing the DM role. Too many purple players. Sissoko is on another planet compared to that lot. Really suprised we've done this under Wenger's nose.
