Right on. We need to add a no shop provision to our bids. Yep. Exclusivity would be helpful to us. I think it's nonsense that our bids are getting highjacked or shopped to other clubs after we get them accepted. Really poor on seller if that's true. Our policy of backing down in "auctions" doesn't help either. We don't even low ball bid and increase to our "ceiling" it seems. We just offer what we can pay max, say to the seller take it or leave it, fuck off if the deal requires any brain work. Obviously these deals aren't going to be clear, cut and dry anymore. We aren't even adapting to these changing conditions either ffs. Would it be better to stealth with multiple offers for different players?

Thought bids came with confidentiality clauses. It used to be the way transfers were kept quiet. Now it's, "Attention the world Newcastle are bidding for one of our playaz"!!!!!!!!!

If he values himself and wants to give himself the best chance he has to be pressuring Ashley on a daily basis with regard to transfers....He will know more than any of us the danger the club is in with regard to relegation. Yep. I'm utterly convinced that this is simply Pardew trying to absolve himself from blame ahead of the transfers we need failing to materialise. As the .com piece says, people will turn on the him and the club if signings aren't made and we continue to struggle. He's absolutely right about our lack of quality and depth, but a poor workman blames his tools... Honestly think the Remy debacle has been a huge wake up call for him. Also think he's shitting it as he knows how tricky Dekka is. how was remy a debacle ? theres probably numerous others but thats a poor choice. Ok maybe a bit over the top.

It would be better for all if he didn't do that (if it's as you say) via the media approaching a big game. He wants to put pressure on the board he knows where Mashley lives. Get some balls.

He's lost it. Completely lost the handle on the situation and he's the main barrier towards staying up. Sooner he goes the better imo. Agree. These kinds of thoughts should remain private. Tend to agree. He's sounding every bit as desperate as we are IMO. Can't he just ring them up? He's said before that once the targets are identified all he can do is hope the club deliver. This is probably his only way of putting pressure on them whilst getting his own excuses out there as early as possible if things go wrong. Remember when Keegan got bollocked down in London for saying this kind of thing? Yep, said we can't compete with the likes of Chelsea and they went mental at him. I suppose a bright spot is at least Pardew seems to be showing a bit of bollocks. Dekka said he asked for Henry and he felt like slapping Keegler.

What like? only Milan is a bigger challenge really( to me City and Chelsea are no easier or harder) and they couldn't afford Pep's toothbrush atm. Bayern have not won the CL in over a decade and Dortmund have won the last 2 leagues, its challenging enough IMO. Hardly. It's the richest club in Germany by a mile. It has access to the best talent across Europe and first class top tier management. Pep was saying when he took a year out that he might come back at a smaller club and build it up from the ground.

As a man I love Pep and what he's all about so a little dissapointed he's taken on this project rather than building something a bit more challenging..

This club should be challenging for top 4/5 every year.
