I don't really care as such balls are useless with our forwards. Viduka prefers balls to feet. Martins and Owen get outmuscled with balls coming from semi-deep wide right as has been witnessed time and time again this season. We need pace on the right with someone getting near the byline so def are facing their own goal...It is in this 'window of uncertaintly' the likes of Owen thrive.

Geremi looked class and Beye looked shit, but i know who i'd rather have at RB in the premiership. Re: him in midfield, i'm talking about his appearances for us when he tended to be alongside Butt earlier in the season. Geremi would stay back, read the game and help start off the attacks whereas Butt was given more licence to roam upfield and speculate a bit more. it worked ok, though because we were looking to Butt as our creative fulcrum the team as a whole looked hugely one-dimensional. Geremi was ok in his role, nothing special but imo the best we have for that position. now that Butt has dropped back to DM again he looks pap. Fair enough.

I partly agree but he might just make enough of a difference to see us start winning the odd game and creating a bit of consternation in opposing defences with his pace. Short of him gormlessly grinning (Taylor is his main competition for this) the opp to death I don't have high hopes for the return of the scatty one.

Watched 7 games. I don't rate Geremi sorry to dissapoint. Suggesting him ahead of Beye is the height of naivety if you don't mind me saying. He hasn't got the distribution or legs for a DM role.

Wonder what the feeling is now. Interested. Tney failed in the first test, by keeping Fat Sam when they bought the club. Then they moved to limit the damage by getting rid of the useless fat cunt. Then they made an appointment that seems to have been based on a populist policy of supporter-appeasement, rather than a sound business case, and potentially fucked it up again. I still don't get the feeling that MA is engaging with the club in the correct way. Behind the scenes organisation is better a la Mort no doubts.
