He's rubbish Shaktar reject.

Isn't he a forward? Aye converted forward iirc.
-
I doubt Bremen are the type of club who can hang onto him.

True, expecting a winger to cross a ball accurately is clearly being too picky. With the standard around ATM you'll be hard pressed to find many wingers that can cross accurately on a regular basis outside of the Ronaldos of this world. I don't know whether it's a dying art but there's certainly a dearth of quality wingers in the league. Bouzza looked very good the other night.

VDV being Dutch would be alright with it. I have doubts about Deco flourishing in the PL too. Arshavin as you say would be the best of both worlds. Thank you Parkenstein. Why the fuck am I the only one voting for him? The shavin ars campaign starts here and it starts now. Reset the poll.

English managers are a bit fick?

This (creative attacking central midfielder) is what we need from the Jan window. Get to it Morticia.
-
Agree! I want that Nasri!! ?30m. worth it. i reckon you could build a team around the young lad Mort's too tight.

Both sensible.

There is no wrong time to buy quality players if they are available.

Yeah, along with Gerrard, Torres, Lampard, Rooney, Fabregas Difference being, some of these players occasionally do produce top form in big games. Ronaldo never does. Didn't you watch the last World Cup? No, not really. Can't really comment then, can you. Do you understand the difference between a big game and a big tournament? Do you understand that big games come within a big tournament? Yes. I don't personally count Iran, Mexico and Angola as massive tests though, which was who Portugal played in the group stages. Don't recall Ronaldo playing great against England or Holland, two games I did actually see and would classify as big games. Which is my point, not sure what yours is. Really? He can't really play well when he's not playing can he? He did play very good against England and France in the Semi-Final, did you not bother watching Euro 2004 either? The one Portugal got to the final in, the one where Ronaldo was one of the top scorers in the tournament including one in the Semi-Final. That said, it was only a big tournament, wasn't it? I actually missed the entire Euro Championships in 2004 as it happens, was away for the summer. I'm not sure you've quite grasped the concept of a big game yet either. My point is that Ronaldo is, for the overwhelming majority of big games he plays in, not in the least bit outstanding for a player of his abilities. ...and you'd be 100% right.

http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/d/d4/Uncle_Fester.gif + Wig. Tbfh if Sven does some good business in the Jan window you're lot aren't that far off Ditherpool. Shocking today not one clear cut chance created in 90min. Kewell well past his sell by date. Benayoun at fault for the goal sleeping on the line no other contribution. Kuyt when he picks up pace seems to run backwards...lol MY longstanding issues with Benitez clear to see today. You either hit Torres early or really don't bother playing him..He's a second phase striker and Liv play a 3rd phase game waiting for all the mediocre dross to catch up with play...Yawn. The one time he was linked early Brown had to foul him... Alonso is still key for them...Up against quality he does the sides thinking. MOM - Anderson. So influential Gerrard started niggling him. We're getting Nery Castillo and Bojinov isn't far away. And I'd like Mascherano obviously. I do think Liverpool are vulnerable if they stay in Europe and prioritise that as they drop out of title contention, but I think they still have too much in the long run. We wont win every home game for the season. I can't believe I'm actually considering the top 4 as a possibility. I need my head checked. Still. Dare to dream. COYB. Once they get knocked out the CL they tend to pick up in the league. Ideal scenario for you is that they get to the final. You've got a better manager than Liv and Chelsea atm. Also Chelsea will be in the shithouse once the ACON starts.

For fucks sake. Can see why Roeder dithered re: Dirk Shuyt. Poor. Best player on the pitch is Evra, come a long way since his debut bumming at City. As has Anderson...one of the worst signings of the summer according to one poster on here not too long ago. () Van Der Saar clueless as ever tho, once again proving that just cos you play for a good side it doesn't automatically make you a good player. Hope it stays 0-1 so Benny has nowt to take into this showdown with his bosses and City have a chance at nicking Mascherano. :parky: Gerrard.

Liverpool do a lot of hoofing goes unnoticed by the cognecenti.

Nice bonus and there's always a chance against the likes of Fulham. I would have started Emre against this lot. We worked hard and got a break is the best I can say about the perfromance. Again very strange postitioning from Marteeens.

Good post. Long term building needs to be balanced with significant first team needs...There isn't much ground in making it appear one is more important than the other imo. Both need addressing.
