I'd be more than happy with just the one. I'm definitely in the we-need-a-bit-more-fucking-flair-in-midfield/link-up camp, but I would never like us again to be as dependent on any player as we were, at times, on Shearer. It?s a measure of Liverpool's weakness re. Man U and Chelsea that they still depend so much on Gerrard as engine and talisman. Flair and engine room type player/s yes. It's a sign that Zoggy seems to be our main source of inspiration how desperate we are in this area.

Insanity. Not sure why Liverpool need another player for midfield/strikers: Strikers: Torres, Voronin, Kuyt, Crouch,Babel Midfielders: Sissoko,Gerrard,Alonso,Pennant,Gonzalez,Riise,Mascherano,Leto,Leivia,Kewell, Benayoun seems like ample of both to me. Benny Benitez is really overdoing it.

You can look at other sides and say yes they need Gerrard or Fabregas or with ManU I guess it would be Cristiano etc..Even if we come down the league a little we can say Arteta for Everton or Berbatov for Spurs... We don't seem to have this standout player..Geremi has a steady game and then a poor one Roze it's too early to say..Martins the same with reg to in and out games. At the moment Zoggy seems to playing well most of the time.. Where/Who is this player? **Don't take the easy option and say Given when he is fit...I mean an outfield player.
