Hopefully he wont be so kind on the powers that be with his comments should this go through.

My completely bonkers theory is that he has the new owners 'permission' on who can go. Haha!! I know, I know!! More likely what you say, if new owners were close to coming I just can't see them being okay with the club losing it's major assets unless they are so bullish they think they can rebuild team in a month.

In where ? At the training ground I'd assume? Surely this. Players return. Will be lots of reporters etc. possibly some pissed off fans with a bedsheet.

Cheers for clearing up. I'll not get the beer out the fridge just yet.

Where you getting that from? I thought yesterday there was two claims that statements were 'imminent', one from the radio guy based in middle east and the other was Shields Gazette late last night. Have both not been shown to be mistaken or is it me?
-
So hee-haw statements (that we know of) are being released this week?
-
in all seriousness he's probably raging that we apparently spent money on painting some walls in the past 3 years. wants to see for himself.

He's away to take the 'manager' sign off Rafa's old office door. Probably doing a stationary count to make sure none of Rafa's lot took any with them There's a pack of post-it's and a SD pen missing!! Contact Beijing to start extradition process!

Is that not just someone making up what they think the statement will be?

Edit: first bit ain't funny!

Not if they want their own man. I just cant see this being the case myself like Unless they promised Mourinho the job or something. I know i kmow Funny, I've been thinking about this this evening.... making some big leaps in my logic but here goes...…. it's well known that Jose has 1) affection for this club 2) is looking for a 'project' 3) is highly thought of in the middle east (maybe more so than Rafa is?) pure guesswork on my part 4) is linked to the job in some way If I was Jose I would have had my representatives contact BZG a few weeks ago about the possibility of working with them should they take over (kind of like it was Rafa who got in touch with us, we didn't go looking for him) Managers at that level know what they want and go for it. Rafa was perfect for us but I can see Jose doing well here (provided not under the fat cunt obviously). Would rather have Mikel Arteta, Roberto Martinez or Eddie Howe instead of Jose Mourinho though! Agree that all 3 would be good options but, and maybe I'm doing BZG a disservice but don't think they'd be looking at/considering any of them. Think they'd go for a Jose as big headline grabbing statement of intent.

He can’t just sit around waiting for a takeover to happen and the new owners might not appoint him as manager Rafa’s gone Oh, understand that... not the point I was making.... was hoping (dreaming) that he was waiting in the wings to come back to us. If he does sign for this Chinese crew he's the type of gentleman that would honour his contract which means he wouldn't ditch them IF we got new owners and IF they wanted him. Either he's sounded out new owners and been told he wasn't going to be wanted or the takeover is still long way off/pie in the sky. Aye I see what you mean. It’s all just grim. Agree!

Oh FFS no! Just no!! IF this happens Rafa's gone down a milli-step in my estimations. Thought he'd be better than taking the Yuan. Means if takeover does happen (I know, I know!) then he'll not be coming back to us. Is this the sort of 'project' he wants? Or just after the past 3yrs of shite he just wants a job where he'll have a degree of autonomy not afforded to him here.

Don't take anything serious. Just await the announcement of take over has collapsed or completed. All the micro emotions and information reactions is just painfully tedious and impossible to gauge anything meaningful from. Cheers! Hard to put in to practice tho!

I'm at the stage where I can't trust my own mind to judge what's BS and what's not.... So can someone tell me should I be getting excited about this latest piece of "information"?
-
Just signed up. In ideal scenario the trust will be a force to help rid us of the cancer but if not still a positive force for good.

That Neville sister is quitting the netball team..... coincidence?
-
Why doesn't he just text Midhat Kidwai then? He should just ask Odin. What?..........too soon?

He’ll only sell at a price and time where he thinks he’s won. For that reason I think going down would make him less likely to sell. He would probably be even more nasty to the club if we stayed down he’d want to make it suffer forever. I don't see that playing out personally. He likes money too much. He appears pretty stretched (relatively speaking) due to his shopping spree. I think the threat of a boycott should be used to make it as difficult to appoint a decent manager as possible. Ashley and Charnley will be in a position knowing that the season is going to be toxic. We have a difficult start and they know things will only get worse once the season has started. Being in that position vs having Benitez signed on for an additional year weakens his negotiation position significantly. I guess that was why he threw a tantrum and let Rafa know through Sky sports that he was gone. If he doesn't sell there is one potential out of fourteen million, six hundred and five that could be decent for us. Ashley may want to "win" the Benitez situation. What better way than appointing someone half decent giving them the money that Benitez would never have actually seen. Then playing the "look Benitez was a t***" card. Not really. I agree most of your points but not the last one. He did that and we relegated. He won’t do that again. Half decent manager yes (lol, if there is one) but no more spending. Even the sales proceeds may not be allowed to put back to the club. Yours is the most likely outcome it's just really hard to predict a psychopaths reaction. They probably have a list of potential signings already lined up. Not through skill but the list that Rafa rejected as they didn't meet his criteria. They bring in a coach. Then through arrogance sign all the Rafa rejects thinking they know better. To a gambler this may appear as a decent hedge against relegation as even when we go down they will think they'll be able to repeat the Sissoko and Wijnaldum outcome. A psychopath that loves money = Cashout out at the best possible price while having put them through absolute hell in the process. Th best possible price changes after 2 years in the championship. But more than that, 2 years in the championship is two years decreased value to the reasons he wants the club. The club is of no use to him if it isn't high profile. Getting relegated for one season doesn't impact our profile too much because, as one of the relegated/promoted teams we never really leave the PL conversation. But if we fail to get promoted first time, we become just another championship club. All that matters to Ashley is what the club is worth to him. Don’t agree. I think will only leave at a great cash out point he will lose otherwise. Last week with Rafa in charge was the best cashout point he was ever going to get “A psychopath that loves money = Cashout out at the best possible price while having put them through absolute hell in the process.” He had to give us the hell part first then leave with a winning cash out. He won’t let go of Newcastle in the Championship for a lower price while appearing to have lost he will sell it at the best possible point for him and worst point for us which is late on in the window hopefully If that was true what 'new' owner would pay £350million and take over this football club with 1/2 weeks of a transfer window to wheel and deal in?

So Odin is a massive dobber then. What about this lad that supposedly had twitface chat with this lawyer dude?
