  1. Kinnear hasn't got a clue. Duff and Butt stay on to shamble along at walking pace, and Cacapa not hauled off at half-time?
  2. Fuck off Errol Brown. That was pub-league standard. From kick-off he had the expression of a nervous 18-year old girl about to sit her driving test.
  3. Can't fault either of them. Cacapa sold Colo down the river.
  4. You could see Bramble getting player of the year in France if Boumsong and Cacapa are a measure of the quality over there.
  5. I can see Beye leaving for a different league at the end of the season. He's got to be sick of refs guessing.
  6. Don't understand the criticism of Barton and Shola. I don't like them pair of them, but they've done better than most in that half. Shola has acquired a first touch. Barton has made a few decent tackles, and his passing is spot on.
  7. May as well take Butt off and play Owen behind the front two. It's not like we'll be losing anything from midfield. Charlie on for Duff.
  8. Barton is doing alright. Butt is simply anonymous. It's like he's hiding.
  9. A 40th birthday is a landmark one.
  10. Sunderland release new t-shirt: http://i34.tinypic.com/30thsu8.jpg
  11. It was a fluke. Mike Hooper would have saved it.
  12. Can't argue with any of that. Pretty much spot on.
  13. Deserved a goal for Modric's shot. Brilliant technique.
  14. Manager advisng the team to sit back and hold the lead. A better team would have torn us a new back 4. Taylor scares the shit out of me. In fairness, Kinnear said we sat back too much in the second half. I don't think he told them to do that.
  15. Fulham @ 3-1 good value considering the circumstances? Stoke 6-1 and the draw 3-1 are generous.
  16. You can't blame him. It's a golden opportunity for him. He's probably taken Portsmouth as far as they could go, given their resources. Redknapp can't have much longer in the game - I bet he didn't turn us down without having a good long think about it.
  17. Reading the message boards, it's clear that the derby means more to them than it does to us. When we win, what we feel is relief. A feeling that we've avoided embarrassment. When they win, it's like they've won the World Cup. Why are they so emotional about something that Derby, Wigan, Charlton and Reading have managed in the last couple of years?
  18. You've just scraped victory at home against the second worst team in the league atm. Sunderland going from strength to strength. I don’t for a moment think that we are half a big a club as you are , I mean what is it, 9th biggest in Europe? But as you beat us 4-1 last season I dare say it is without doubt a marked improvement from us, so therefore we are moving in the right direction. And after all the table don’t lie , were are you in the league again? FFS.
