I know fine well what I said about Howe, and I've owned up to it as well. There's absolutely nothing mental about the Isak fee though, there never was. I've seen the lad play since he was 16 years old, and he's been absolutely class since he first came on the scene. He scored 13 goals in 16 games in a shite team in the Dutch league when he was 20 years old btw. If he was sold to the PL now after that spell he would have probably cost about £100m.

I'm absolutely not comparing them as players, but that assist reminded me a bit of Messis at the world cup. Messis was better obviously, but the way they both skin their defender and lays it on a plate from the right is a bit similar.

That was such an Isak performance. Absolute nightmare to play against, as he's all over the attack, and has the ability and pace to skin anyone. I'd start Isak in the return leg ahead of Callum, and then play Isak as some sort of "false 10" behind Wilson for West Ham. He is so good at just taking up a free role in attack, drift wide when he needs to or come deep to collect and run St defenders. Always been his main strengths.
