Potter is a good manager, but might not be an elite one, or at least just not yet. However, I put very little stock in his performance for Chelsea so far. It's quite remarkable how he hasn't been able to implement his style of play at all at Chelsea yet.

Ahhahahahahahahahahaha

Just try and get tickets for Brighton if we do go out to Saints

Definitely wouldn't have added owt to the Brazil squad though.
-
Also, incredible seeing loads of them saying it's the toughest draw possible for them
-
Thanks for posting that Like Howe, he speaks so well and just says the right things.
-
That's pretty much my only hope of getting a ticket mind
-
Yeah sure, but I've already got flights to Newcastle that weekend for the mrs and her kid. I'd be starting my travels back home round the time of kick off if I'm going with our scheduled flights. There's no way I could do that man
-
Aye, but will there really be 33k season ticket holders being able to go? Demand will be sky high obviously, but surely there'll be a fair amount of ST holders that won't be able to make it down to London for it?

Surely pretty much all season ticket holders will be able to get a ticket for the final?

So guess I need to look into getting down to London from Newcastle and skipping my flight back home.

What an incredible signing he has been, absolutely over the moon for him to score that goal. Love him to bits like

So annoyed with myself that I can't fully enjoy this win. Got flights over to Newcastle for the weekend of the final, and was hoping to get to be able to take the step son to the Brighton game, so now I kind of have to hope we lose our first league Cup semi final in 20 odd years for very selfish reasons. Thinking of we might be able to change our flights to get down to London for the final should that happen, but it'll cost us a fucking fortune probably, plus I imagine it'll be impossible to get tickets to Wembley.

Ziyech as well (or is he on loan somewhere?)
-
We call him Next Stop at work, as his name sounds like a train station.
-
Well aye, it still can't be easy to replace this many people within just a year. At some point the replacements run out.
-
He said highly rated though Tbf.
-
If he can't even get a start today, you have to think his exit is drawing closer.
-
Aye it's horrible, can't watch it
-
That is way less than what I thought Tbf.

That just means that the on pitch refs are more happy to try and screw us over rather than us 'gaining' anything from VAR.

That basically kills the League Cup. While it's obviously a bad thing, I can't say it's surprising. Unfortunately, it doesn't really make much sense to have to have two domestic cups any more. It's annoying though because it's all motivated by pure greed, none of it has to so with what's best for the game, players or fans. If there was a genuine argument for the league Cup being scrapped that didn't just involve 'we can make more money', I think I could've been OK with it. Do wonder as well if the EFL are being a bit short sighted with this, just seeing an extra few hundred million a season and don't care about the long term effects.

It's Howe like, but yes Botman and Pope has been a huge part of our ridiculous defence this season. Have we ever kept 6 clean sheets in a row before?
-
Must've missed all those goals and assists Saka got yesterday. He got in behind Burn a couple of times early on, after that we doubled up on him and he created nowt. Almost like Howe saw what was going on and adjusted the team accordingly.
