Aye, that's right actually. Second Sunday in March according to http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions Most importantly, we'll have had him for tonight and Huddersfield even if he does pick up a suspension. Reading were the third most important game to have him in in this run, as they've been cut off a bit with their recent results. -

Been watching that pass out to Atsu about fifteen times now, it's a fucking ridiculous ball Atsu does very well to control it too btw. -
Aye, I thought they looked really good in spells. They just bottled it, and we played well. Got nervous and sloppy in possession and didn't really know how to manage the game, especially once Diame's fluker went in. They really did bottle it like. They were dominating with about ten minutes left. The amount of poor touches and bad passes under no pressure they had in the last ten minutes was amazing and we capatalised on it perfectly Could be tiredness tbf, we did make it a tough game for them. Also both managers were put in a fairly strange situation at 1-1, doesn't feel like an equaliser happens with 10 minutes to go in a game against the top 2 too often. Would say Benitez's experience might have won the game for us a bit at that point, Brighton didn't really seem to know whether to really go for it or be happy with a point.

Sounds like it could have a class goal
-
Wonder if we'd have won if he made subs around 60 minutes like people were screaming for him to do.
-
So typical that he finally started finding form when he left for the AFCON, and then when he comes back he's at his worst again

I don't think there is much of a long term future for "this" squad. Obviously there'll still be a fair few players still here next season, but I do think that shift and add plenty in the summer.

Ok, it's sunk in now. Saying that, it was his wank header that lead to their (brilliantly worked) free kick that resulted in the corner that resulted in the penalty. Could have given away a goal as well with ridiculous pass when our entire team were up attacking.

After they scored, they naturally sat back a bit, coupled with us waking up, but every chance they had, they went forward. Can understand if their fans are annoyed with some of their missed chances at 1-0.

When's the next cut-off again? After Huddersfield -
Can see this having a very similar effect as the Norwich turn around had for us. IIRC we weren't doing poorly up til then, but after that we went on a roll and played some good stuff as well. Think it'll be even more so if Gayle is back in the side sooner rather than later. Hopefully it can have the same effect on Brighton as it did for Norwich too.

Does he not get one for the diame goal? Dummett touched it on after the Atsu shot. Obviously a bollocks "assist" whoever gets it Murphy did, pretty sure it was Murphy. Aye it was. Thought it Dummett as well first, but definitely Murphy

Probably has something to do with our best striker by far having been out injured for a couple of months like. That's not an excuse though, other players should still be taking their chances though. Every team gets injuries. It's a partial excuse like, definitely. We've still scored twice four games in a row as well. Not that I'm really disagreeing with you, our finishing is fairly shite without Gayle, but we're still scoring.

And Huddersfield in the play offs -

He's often frustrating but wingers mostly are. He's quick and he'll cause the opposition problems and create chances, that's all that matters. We're not going to have Eden Hazard in the Championship like. Have a player like Atsu that creates head aches for the opposition is worth so much more than a Gouffran who does nothing but run around a bit.

Adding a trifecta of teams starting with B after that win: Blackburn Rovers Bristol City Burton Albion

Spot on -
It absolutely isn't pathetic, because you know that the doom and gloom mongs would have been all "I told you so" if we had lost that one. A fair amount of people saying we could give up at half time on Saturday and after 15 minutes today, as it happens apparently Rafa and this team probably know what they are doing and we've shown some cracking spirit in two games in a row now. So instead of the doom and gloom mongs gloating? It's the chirpy soopafan mongs gloating? Aye, if you call not giving up after 15 minutes of a game being a chirpy soopafan. We weren't saying we're definitely coming back to win it, because it's arguably the toughest game of the season for us and we're without our best striker, but the mood in the thread (and pre-match thread as well tbh) by some was pathetic. They need to eat a big fat fucking humble pie before coming back spouting the shite they were coming out with next time.
