Another poor decision from the ref though. Can't believe how often we've said this the last few days
Indeed it was but Wigan did have that goal wrongfully disallowed. Balance tbh.
Aye, but unbalanced out by that hand ball. I'm not complaining like, about fucking time both Wigan got some luck and Man U were on the other side.
And no Fergie, it does not even out over a season.
Imagine being an Espanol/Atletico fan. Must be even worse than being a mackem Huge respect for both sets of fans though for not choosing the easy option, like VI
Gardner and Iniesta
Couldn't he at least have compared him with someone who has a knack for scoring great goals instead of one of the most skilful midfielders on the planet? Gardner and Iniesta play absolutely nothing alike, Ben Arfa and Messi at least share some similarities in their game.
He has played almost every minute of the season, and we're sitting in fifth with five games to go. If he was as bad as some have made him out to be on here, that would simply not be possible.
Loving how we're becoming "everyone's second favourite team" again btw. Ask anyone who isn't a mackem and they'll say that they'd love us to finish fourth (even Spurs and Chelsea fans, providing they finish third).
It's been such an amazing season, imagine if we can finish it in style and clinch that fourth spot
I thought Spearing was shite. Henderson did well after being reverted to RB, Shelvey looked a decent talent but didn't look anywhere near ready for first team action against any team that's remotely good. Bellamy was again their best player by far.
EDIT: Maybe shite was a bit harsh on Spearing, but he was pretty invisible and didn't really do anything "good" either.
It really did look like a relegation battle. Both teams were fucking awful, so many mistakes, awful tackles, and just no quality on show. Wasn't anything like a "quality 3-2 game", both teams were just too poor to not let the other one score
I've started dreaming about it, that's for sure. Been thinking about making a thread like this myself, but I haven't dared
Voted no, but a win next weekend together with another set of results going our way and I'll start thinking it's actually possible.
