He was much better at left wing last season IIRC.

On paper probably, I'm not convinced by a Shola & Carroll partnership though I'd have Lövenkrands ahead of Shola.
-
Love it, what a cunt he makes out of himself
-
Watched bits and pieces of the game (switched to the Benfica game at 2-1), and they were in full control of it. I was close to putting another £50 on it at 1.3 just before the second goal, they were looking that comfortable.

I agree. In some ways I'd rather he didn't, tbh. Please explain I see that Chris P has pretty much taken up the argument on my behlaf whilst I've been watching Falling Down on ITV4. But I'll recap/paraphrase my own thoughts with a rather NE5-like "Be careful what you wish for"/"Better the Devil you know" type message. At no point so far have we been shown any evidence that Moat's credentials to own/run the club (other than Moat being a Geordie and a mate of Big Al's) are any better than Mike Ashley's credentials. We think things are bad now - but then you have to remember the shit that Leeds went through in the aftermath of ousting Ridsdale, etc etc. Just when you think things have reached their nadir, you get a further nasty surprise. It's not all that long ago that Ashley was being feted as the new saviour - Shepherd was gone, Ashley was here...woo-hoo! And now look what we've got. Fair enough. I just don't see how anyone could be worse than a Mike Ashley who doesn't want to be here. He clearly won't put any money into the club, and he's making no attempts to run us at all, let alone run us properly. Even if he did take us off the market again, as soon as another backlash hits him, he'll be coming out with this same shite again and try to sell, bringing on another drawn out saga of deadlines and instability. We desperately need to get rid of him this time.

Sporting Gijon equalises. Cunts.
-
He's a twat, but I haven't really got any problems with what he's doing there. It's not very bright, but the fan deserves any shit that comes his way.
-
The rest of his argument is so shit that this just slipped by without notice
-
It's not that, it's just boring now. Aye, it stopped being funny about a year ago now.
-
Lovely finish from David Villa to make it 2-1 to Valencia.
-
He made three changes from the team beaten by Blackpool; this included dropping Butt. Which big players is he accommodating? Nolan. He could play 4-4-2 and accommodate Nolan. What he did was play 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 (imo it was 4-5-1) for 60 minutes and then made the changes that got the win; can't see much wrong with that. You don't see anything wrong with playing 4-5-1 at home against one of the worst sides in the league? How about playing a striker as a winger and a central midfielder as a second striker then?
-
Agree. I'm not part of the Ranger wankwagon but I think at the moment, he should partner Carroll. I agree that Lovenkrands is better as a striker but we have literally no-one else for the left hand side without wasting a central midfielder out there. Agree 100%. Shouldn't be that fucking difficult.

I agree. In some ways I'd rather he didn't, tbh. Please explain

Benfica concedes. 1-1
-
And Gijon a man down as well.
-
Valencia equalises. They're going to walk this now I reckon.
-
No idea who Portsmouth are playing, but I'd stay well fucking clear of them who ever it is. Valencia 1-0 down
-
£15 on Valencia and Benfica. Very random, don't really know much about either team or their form, but just wanted to put a fucking bet on.
-
I thought they were pretty ordinary myself. Yes, but still won 3-0, allthough the ref fucked spurs Correct decision not to give the penalty to Keane IMO. Yes, there was contact, but it was an obvious dive from him.

What a borefest the Real Madrid game is.
-
I hope today marked the end of my poor form. First time I've been plus on a day since the international weekend ffs.
-
Nice one! Was thinking about doing this bet, but first goalscorer never comes off for me, so I reckon you owe me half of your winnings

Good day at the office

Fucking Celtic man! This has to be the luckiest bet ever so far Spurs are nailed on to fuck it up though
