Literally an owner who invests what the club generates and a honest, aspirational manager and the place would be rocking. I don't need Messi I just want to care again. I want us to challenge the top boys. I get what you're saying but I think that's because that reality seems a hell of a lot better than what we get now, and it is but if we had that there would always be a frustration we still couldn't touch the top 4.

The problem is any takeover that does actually happen is going to feel like such a fucking anti-climax knowing we had groups willing to invest hundreds of millions into our first team squad. We'll never get a chance like this again but I'm not really sure what we can do other than hope for a miracle.

I reckon he's got until 10pm. Although his banning has already happened, it's inevitable, there's no changing history. Thankyou !! Still confident? The longer the day goes on, the more difficult it becomes to believe it will happen (today) but there is still time left. I bet you won a fortune when Liverpool were 3 down to AC Milan in 2005.

No way. Past it.

Seems a realistic signing to replace ASM when he buggers off to Wolves.

Impossible to keep winning week after week. Missing out on auto will have drained them aswell. They go into the play-offs disappointed whereas Swansea go in excited and feeling grateful they sneaked in.

Sky really need to sack off Micah Richards man. Nice guy but that laugh is so annoying.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

You're thinking of Adam Johnson? Yuupppp Hell of a mix up that Easily done what with them both being former Sunderland players. Aye it's like you wouldn't tell the difference between Adam Johnson and Lee Cattermole

Aye it's canny. I drink all over. Love The Angel. Cheap as fuck. I drink a lot in Headingley. Absolutely loads of sexy student birds in Headingley. Still think the Toon is slightly better for bars and pubs but it's close. I don't live directly in Leeds so I usually get the train there and just go call lane end/merrion. Yeah I've been to that Angel place a few times. It's in a weird place. Which places do you recommend in Headingley? The Box is really good. Perfect for Sports, and very lively at night. Head of Steam is class for a quieter drink, lovely venue. The Original Oak is amazing on a hot summer day - massive beer garden. There's like 7 pubs/bars in central Headingley, and 3 others a little further up the road in Far Headingley. When there is a big T20 cricket match on, or big test match on, or even a Leeds Rhino's game on, just packed everywhere. Headingley is kinda similar to Jesmond, except Jesmond doesn't have a 20K cricket and 20K rugby stadium back to back. All my Leeds mates love the Toon when we've went up on the piss. Yeah I've been in The Box and Head Of Steam. I went in the new HOS near Trinity it's good. I actually went to The Box for the first time about 10 months ago, it was quite late and I was drunk. Funny story I went to the toilet and got the guy selling stuff to give me some aftershave. I went to give him some money but I didn't have any change. Luckily for him I was very drunk and felt bad for him so I got him to give me his sort code and account number and I sent him £2 via online banking Might try Headingley way more next time I'm out.

I'd give this twirp two full seasons as manager as long as this takeover goes through.

Fabinho totally blanking masters then

Mark Hughes. I remember him at Southampton mainly because of the volley he scored past us and I thought that was his last club but he apparently went on to play for Everton and Blackburn.
