  1. No. People heard him say it though... He said a week on Thursday.
  2. Doesn't say anything about signing a player tomorrow in the BBC article does it?
  3. How's Smith injury prone, he had a horrific injury that wasn't down to his body unlike Dyer who pulls every muscle going, i won't go into detail.
  4. The reason is he won't be on the bench, he'll be starting. Which is even worse. If Allardyce sees him as a better striker than Martins, Owen & Viduka, or a better midfielder than Geremi, Barton & Emre, there's something wrong. He sees him as another good versatile player to the squad, 6m pounds isn't anything overboard tbh taking into account: The current market which is sky high. England International. Manchester United player. Can play both midfield/striker.
  5. Tbh, i don't care which players Allardyce signs, i'm sure they'll play well under Big Sam.

  7. Everyone would want him. Smith is signing.
  8. It could be worse in all fairness... cue "how?"
  9. I wanted Smith here before he went to Man U but not now, it will be interesting to see how he does, how many players leave Manchester United and do well?
  10. If it's Appiah, the N-O background will be full of cum stains.
  11. They are assembling a handy squad, but how many Serie A players have adapted well and made it in the Prem? Risky strategy IMO. How many of them have been managed by someone with Serie A experience who can speak a bajillion different languages? I have faith in Sven. Especially given his apparent buying in pairs strategy. Two Bulgarians, Two Brazillians, Two Italians...should help these guys settle in. I'm with you on this one Doc, it helps to have a fellow countryman there to help with the settling in process. I also see a lot of similarity with what Sven is trying to do and what Arnesen did for Spurs 3 years ago. Started off with a poor squad and signed a lot of players in practically no time flat to get the squad quality partially improved and squad quantity very much improved. It wouldn't surprise me to see the majority (if not all) gone within 12/18 months as happened with Spurs, with new recruits providing an upgrade in quality on those going out the door. But the short term aim would have been achieved. Squad numbers up to strength, squad quality significantly up on what was there before. I'm impressed with what Sven is doing and how he is going about it tbh. In 3 years when SGE's current contract expires, it'll be interesting to see just how far City will have progressed from last season. A long long way imho. I should bloody well think so with the amount of money their spending.
  12. The squad you idiot. Sure, i'm an idiot because of your mistake. :D The squad news has an impact on what the team will be
  13. Yep, i wanted to know if he'd recovered from the slight groin injury he had.
  14. The squad you idiot. Then why did you say team like? Having said that, it's nowt to get worked up about. I only want to know if Luque's playing, christ
