  1. Lescott? How much did Everton pay for him? £4m? Offer £7m, although for that i think you'd get Luisao, a few more and were talking Naldo. Lescott, Yobo, Campbell (cheaper) are really the only EPL options available right now, and the 1st two will take some cash to prize out of Everton. Campbell should be snapped up regardless of whoever else we buy, his experience alone would bring Taylor on to the next level. 7m for Lescott?
  2. Thought this could be a thread where photos of past games/signings etc could be posted... anyway here's a few: http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1429345.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1438695.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1438718.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1440430.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1440544.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1651979.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1651989.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1678808.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1842251.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1842236.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1842183.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1682557.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e117/AlbertoLuque/1682545.jpg
  3. I had a photo of him on with a funny goofy smile, next to a pic of a gormless Ramage, with the quotation: "Duhh...". That's all! And even if i was against their intellectual abilities ( ), what the hell has that got to do with their footballing capabilities? Come on, man! You need to think on the pitch.
  4. Brightest talent? Sums us up tbh, we don't have any up and coming talent (Krul, and possibly Taylor) but attacking wise, Zog has much more potential, but sadly his ego is too big, although Sam could sort him out. Martins is practically the same as as Milner, a much better prospect. We also have Viduka, a whipper snapper at 31, he has the talent to play on untill he is 45, an awesome man, and father of Chuck Norris. Absolutley knew you were going to pick up on that. I meant to put British ahead of it. Personally feel that N'Zogbia is the brightest talent in our squad. And before i get accused of telling porkies again, that's true. I said the other day that N'Zogbia had the potential to be better than Ginola and Robert put together. I don't think N'Zogbia will become as good as Ginola, despite not blossoming with France he was brilliant for Spurs.
  5. Don't get the people who say he can't beat his man. The Milner I see beats his man nearly every week. When we played Chelsea, Ferreira was a nervous wreck by half time. People are still judging him largely on the Milner of three years ago imo. He's improved tenfold and still gets flack. I don't think it's his strength but i get the feeling English fans feel that if a winger doesn't have blistering pace, he's no good.
  6. Scored an amazing volley v Portsmouth which i've got on my computer, i remember that goal Wullie and it was with his weaker foot too!
  7. I think we should be looking at getting 2 CB's unless one of the LB's could play there.
  8. SSN said a medical had taken place I believe. I'm 80% sure (although they may have said it was happening tomorrow) but it seems a pretty much done deal ( *gets to work on altering the sig* ) If it doesn't happen, I'll hunt you down and shoot you like the dog you are... http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/6306/staringsquirrelcopylm5.png Am i the only one who'd love to strangle that fucker.
  9. Sounds something like off the Lion King.
  10. We love each other really. We love each other really. ;);););)
  11. I'm not, I just don't want him as first choice RB and I think a few appearances here and there for Chelsea in the absence of anyone else are making people think he's better than he is in that position. If he was any good back there, he'd not be going for nowt. didn't Chelsea offer Bridge to us on August 30 for next to nowt, says more about the club than the player agree that he's not ideal as first choice RB but he's a country mile ahead of anything we've played there in recent seasons Doubt it, i can understand why people may not be so excited after how the other ex Chelsea lot have done.
  12. I understand your point now, it's because you were replying from my quote so i assumed it was directed at me.
  13. Contradicts your point then doesn't it. Hilario's a good comparison because it shows s**** can start for Chelsea if they have enough men out. Mourinho said at one point that we were well off with Edgar and Huntington, which tells you the extent of their defensive crisis. If Geremi was considered good enough to start ahead of those two, how come he only started 15 league games? because for the other 23 league games he was considered not good enough to start ahead of those two? Contradicts your point then doesn't it. not really, Hilario was never considered good enough to be first choice was he? No but you said when Ferreira and Boularouz were fit, Cudicini and Cech weren't. right, which is why Hilario is a bad comparison, are we going round in circles for the hell of it or what? So if Hilario is a bad comparison why did you use him as one? Wullie did, I think you need to read the thread, my point was he was a 'bad' comparison Yes i know, that's what baffles me as you used him as one shortly after unless it was undetected sarcasm?
