As someone posted yesterday, Dragutinovic is still with the Sevilla squad on a trip to marbella, we'll have to see.

Too much anyway, wouldn't pay anything over 4m max for him, highly doubt Baines "snubbed" Everton as he was even at the ground the other day, fee problems and hopefully we can nick him. You've been to Goodison Park? An hour there and you're thinking... 'God I'll have to play here 18 times a season, my car don't stand a chance' (pulls phone out of pocket) 'Hello Sam?, Please bring me up to Newcastle, I'll accept any wage you want to offer, just get me away from Goodison!' There's me thinking the league consisted of 19 home games and 19 away games

How could you!............. James. -
Alan Smith has been signed because he can play in different formations, something Allardyce will use, people talk about him playing as a striker and a midfielder which is correct but i think we're forgetting that at Leeds he was often used as a right winger, playing the 4-3-3 formation under Allardyce will give him the opportunity to play as the right winger in a front 3, i personally think this is where he'll be used a lot of the time.

I think you should be asking yourself, will he be better than last seasons signings.. and the season before that and so on... and come to the conclusion you should be delighted. -

Either him or Dickov, take your pick. -
Believe me, Gretar Steinsson does not have pace, just like 99% of all Icelandic internationals. haha gæti ekki verið meira sammála þér Aye.

we paid £5m for Barton not 6 You really don't think Barton is good enough for our first team? both moraly and talent wise, hell no! who else wanted him? Everton wasn't it? West Ham I believe, though that doesn't strengthen my case at all to be fair. Morally perhaps, but in terms of talent he's streets ahead of the other CM's at the club. who was at the club shouldn't come into it. As Mortdyce said, we're looking to sign european football quality first teamers No, he said "we want to bring in is someone with a lot of Premiership experience or Champions League" which Barton and Smith both have.

I hope your not playing as Man U Wullie! you can't play as the champions instead of the team you support! it makes me sick!

Strange, could have sworn I replied to this but it has disappeared. Delaney is an excellent player, but he will almost certainly never play again. Note that I've been banging on about not having a single RB at the club, despite the fact Delaney is a RB - this is because he will almost certianly never play consistently again. Is on a month to month contract until he proves his fitness, but even if he gets fit, I'd be amazed if you got, say, 10 games out of him on a two year contract. Sorry, I shifted it in to the Delaney thread in case you missed it. Haha -
Practice makes perfect.

Thought this deserved its own thread instead of been posted in other ones. Mark Delaney apparently 4th person to be having a medical. http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=893&p=16&style=2&forumId=5689&action=1&replytoid=2117345079 http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=893&p=16&style=2&forumId=5689&action=1&replytoid=2117346712 http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=893&p=16&style=2&forumId=5689&action=1&replytoid=2117345052
