Please enlighten me on the numerous times youve seen Aubameyang play on the wing Someone who can. Not someone I've seen play on the wing numerous times.
-
So now we're losing Santon and Coloccini whilst signing sixteen left-backs and Erdinc. Brilliant.
-
I want someone who can play on the wing, someone like Remy or Aubameyang.
-
Valencienne's chairman is supposed to have confirmed an offer from us for Gaetan Bong. Also a left-back. Edit: Supposedly I've also Giggsed myself here.
-
That's Santon to Milan done and dusted then. Ashley out.
-
Based on one sentence from Bernard. Classic Ryder shit article.

David Crossan just retweeted this: Remy keen to stay at #OM. Baup saying "he's not showing he wants to leave." Remy's reps had reportedly started talks w/Newcastle on Wed. I don't think the deal is dead. I think Baup is simply saying the exact same things Pardew said about Ba a few days before he left. I also think we read too much into some quotes. Barton's for example. Even if he had no reason to comment whatsoever, we know he loves the attention and he wasn't ever going to come out and say that Remy was on his way.
-
|He scored at least 3 goals in a 4-4-2 last season. The debut and the 2 against Chelsea. And Wolves.
-
Didn't we play Leon Best on the wing last season as well. He had us playing to our strengths for a brief spell during the spring, it was about grinding out results for extremely long periods besides of that. I think that period was a coincidence rather than a sign of how he wants us to play.
-
This. He's been very open and honest about the fact that himself and the board made mistakes last summer though. However, talking about "one more senior player" is still not comprehending where we stand as a squad in my opinion.
-
...and then sign him in the summer when his values has decreased even more. On a serious note, and not to fuel Dave's ridiculous accusation of Scandinavian panic, but the news coming out today has started to worry me a bit. We simply cannot afford another window where we claim to be doing this and that but eventually fail. Without another striker (and probably a CB), we are in serious, serious trouble.
-
So: Remy is staying St. Etienne won't let Aubameyang leave We might sign Sissoko in the summer Mbiwa is a footballer that we liked last summer but did not sign We're doomed
-
There are a load of posts raging at the club because this deal isn't done yet. Scandinavians. Cool as the center seed of a cucumber.
-
Got that from Oliver, he used to do that all the time. That's why I labelled it a tradition. Edwards is another one. Caulkin's name shouldn't be in the same post as those.
-
The amount of sentences Ryder starts with the word "And". How far does this tradition of shit writers stretch back for the Chronicle? Was Caulkin ever there?

Very pessimistic if we can't get Cabaye and/or Taylor back for this. Perch apparently out as well. Krul Debuchy Williamson Coloccini Santon Anita Bigirimana Marveaux Obertan Cissé Ferguson Imagine if we had people fit and could go at them with Krul Debuchy Taylor Coloccini Santon Tioté Anita Cabaye Ben Arfa Cissé Marveaux -
Surely we can't be pursuing a player that's not interested in coming. I'm sure the club have an idea whether they can get him to move here or not. Then again, we chased Gameiro for three months only for him to turn us down. Resolution by the weekend is vital. We need to sort this quickly. The Reading/Villa games are HUGE.
-
Not fucking Erdinc again. 5 goals in 23 games last season. Sholaesque, but in France.
-
One good player away from a top class back four if people stay fit. Taylor would be good enough backup if he stays fit. As of now I guess we'll go with Santon- - - Debuchy ..for a while.
-
Many fond memories of Dyer under Sir Bobby tbh. He was unplayable in the second half of 01/02. Everton (6-2) was as good as I've seen a player perform for this club. Tore everything apart with his running, on and off the ball. Excellent passer as well. His link-up with Bellamy for that first goal at Leeds I'd also say we wouldn't have stayed up if it wasn't for him and Martins in 06/07.
-
He's not really in any kind of form at the moment though. Yes he has had a very good start to the season (eight goals and six assists in 18 games), but he hasn't scored since November and although he was instrumental in their win over PSG his form has really dropped off since and that's the main reason why Saint-Etienne have slumped from title challengers to 10th in the table. Aubameyang is undoubtedly an exceptional talent, but while ASSE would probably initally demand 10-12m euros, I would suspect that they would likely accept around 8m if the right club came along. I stand corrected on his form, but "form" in this case would be the same sort of "form" Cabaye was made out to have through last season, his price tag will be significantly affected.
-
Long contract. Doesn't want to leave. Not happening.
-
Mbiwa seems as if he's available again. Arsenal linked with him today again. Regarding Remy, seems to be quite a few reports saying we're in agreement with Marseille but need to negotiate with him now. Getting this done this week would fill me with optimism. About Aubameyang; some outlets (Chronicle among others) saying he's available for £6m. Load of fucking bollocks if he's not under any clause. Should be at least £10-12m with the form he's in and the reputation he's gained this season.
-
Just for the off chance we can discuss shin splints again. Seems to be a real lack of that condition these days. We need more players with ability that we can cling onto the idea of when we're shit.
