Bannan seemed really gifted, could turn out to be a top player. Otherwise I think Villa fielded a good side that played crap which implies McLeish didn't get it right.

Is Gosling injured again? Thought he was just mysteriously left out at Villa. Anyway, I'd definately play Kadar to rest of one the CB's. Not so much rest, but protect them.

Walker did beat him for pace on numerous occasions. Seemed frustrated with the poor team performance as well, gave a couple of players the "Peter Lövenkrands look".

We should be resting Colo and Taylor tbh, well and truly fucked if they hurt themselves.

Gervinho's decision making has been incredibly stupid all game. Keeps getting into good position, hasn't got a clue what to do when he's there.

I'd be very happy and very suprised if Pardew drops Ryan Taylor for Ferguson. Fully expect Ba to start in place of Shola. He pretty much shouldn't though since Pardew should have learnt his lesson from QPR and start five men in the middle and Best or Ba upfront.

It's more the idea of him play the way he did aginst Everton every now and then. Of course he'll have bad games, but players of his nature tend to struggle against Stoke anyway. If we get him into the side we'll play more on the ground as well. I think it'll work very, very well with him behind Ba or Best and Jonas/Marveaux/Obertan on either side of him.
