shit news this.

Partizan is propably my worst moment. Cried for an hour. Beginning of the end really.
-
Rossi & Duff. We created one chance all game. Duff rounded their keeper and sliced it towards goal, Rossi steered it on to the crossbar from 1 yard.

The 3-0 loss at Man City under Souness The 1-0 loss at Derby under Fat Sam The 0-2 loss at home to Blackburn under Roeder The 0-0 at home with Boro under Roeder The 2-1 loss at Reading under Fat Sam and particularly... The 0-1 loss at home to Sheff Utd under Roeder were all worse imo. There's probably more if I sat and gave it a minute's thought. The 0-0 at home to Charlton under Roeder. They were awful at the time.

Luque and Torres would suggest otherwise. But I'm with you, Tioté needs a few more weeks and he'll be eating midfields as usual again.
-
Either he's lying or they're making up quotes. N'Zogbia didn't play in that game. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/9248825.Practice_makes_perfect_for_Newcastle___s_defence/

Ultimately it has to be Ba Marveaux Ben Arfa Jonas Ba or Best is down to form, but if Ba gets going he will provide some more edge to the attack than best. Also, with Ba and Ben Arfa playing, our attacking play will become dynamic instead of this static shit with Shola and Best both playing so far away from the midfield. Can't fucking wait for Ben Arfa to come back. A year ago I never thought we'd see the day, now it's supposedly less than two weeks away.

Best has a decent amount of attributes that we can do with. He's alright on the ball. Was impressed with his superb skill that forced our best chance of the game at the start of the game. Deserves better than Shola Immobilityeobi by his side.
-
And as Krul, Cabaye and Taylor pick up points and Rooney becomes my captain, I go to 80pts, 306 in total. And keep top spot for third successive round, losers.
-
Most unbelievable thing in football that he manages to stay at this club. Beyond a miracle now.

Shocking performance.
-
We'll improve with him in the side. Some of the players looked like they didn't want to pass Taylor cause he so clearly needs it on his right foot. Anyway, this excuse of a performance will surely lead to Santon making his debut at Villa Park. Looking forward to having him in the side.

It's hilarious until we concede from it.

Him and Colo are brilliant. Rock solid and a very, very good Premiership standard partnership. We were lucky to have them tonight.
-
Incredibly lucky tonight. How he did not sub Shola and Ryan Taylor at halftime I don't know. It was there for everyone to see. Hughton had a habit of learning from his mistakes when it came to pick teams. Just hope to god Pardew has the same, otherwise I can see trouble. The quality is there, he just needs to use it and get the formation right. Shola and Best upfront is too static, we've got our midfielders sitting to deep leaving a GIANT gap between their midfield and defence. Ben Arfa in the hole could be the solution, until then he needs to start Ba - a bit more dynamic - or use Marveaux/Obertan/Jonas behind Best.

This reminds me of when Hughton refused to start Ben Arfa and Tioté against Blackpool just for the sake of it. Hope it doesn't cost us this time as well. -

Santon, Marveaux and Ba to come on. Good set of subs tbh. And Sammy of course. -

Shola is bound to have one or two good games. I just pray this isn't one of them and that we can keep them at bay until Ba comes on. Might be the end of him if Ba comes good and Ben Arfa returns. -

So Ryan Taylor and Shola start? Hopes for this just took a hit. -

I want to see Ba. He feels like the one with most potential to put up front. Him and Best for me please. The 4-2-3-1 can wait until Benny is back. -

Won at West Ham and Arsenal last season, draw at Chelsea. Decent enough.
