Ashley plans to sell in 2016 when he's got his money back. That's probably the plan with all these 5,5-year contractsbeing handed out and the bit about the club looking to break even by then.
-
I honestly think Ashley is just trying to piss us off. This is outrageous.
-
f*** me. Where? This isn't funny.
-
I wish th media would highlight the fact that he had a hand in the sacking of Hughton as well. Would turn even more supporters against him and put pressure on him. It's going to be a long and hard wait to get rid of him and Ashley, but I have a feeling we'll see the back of both of them when they go. This is Ashleys last move, just hope we can recover from it at some point.
-
I can't see how Ashley picture himself running the club under these conditions. Surely there will be pretty severe consequences as a direct result of his actions this time, can't imagine this fury going away from that many supporters for a long, long time.
-
What happend to the 600 year long contract they mentioned on SSN?
-
I seriously think Ashley is risking his own safety by doing this, that's how offensive it is.

This is the lowest for me (been a supporter since 96, obsessed with the club since 2001). Never been this devastated or sad about things. Really worried about the future and so full of anger against the board that I seriously don't know what to do with myself. Like I said earlier, this act of his is unheard of. I've never seen or heard of anything remotely as stupid as this. The bastard has caused me enough pain now. I feel so sick I want to vomit when I think of it.

http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/12/08/newcastle-united-already-in-new-manager-talks-61634-27786457/ Doesn't sound like Pardew is a given from that.
-
Surely this is one of the worst decisions in the history of football? I can't think of a single club where such stupidity has been present in a single decision. Wake me up, please.
-
Incredibly sad as well. Apathetic in some way. It was so good to get a little excited every now and then during the last year. Just another reign of terror ahead of us. This won't end until Ashley is out. I'd love that to be as soon as possible so that I can start remembering why I fell for this club in the first place. Right now it's causing way too much despair.
-
I like your thinking. Seriously struggling to believe this is actually happening. Hand me the gun, I'm going for a walk.
-
That's pretty much it then. Just appoint him already so we can move closer to getting rid of him.
-
Binning CH for Pardew is nothing short of madness. Was just thinking about it again. It is too stupid, even for Ashley. There is absolutley no logical explanation for this whatsoever. There has to be someone else. Has to.
-
Ruled himself out yesterday didn't he?
-
We won't have the same ground and foundation for a comeback like we did last time, if we were to go down this season again. Those who stayed on board (Coloccini, Enrique, Jonas, Barton, Nolan etc.) will all be tired of the crap running of the club and leave. That leaves us with the task of bringing in loads of Championship players or SPL players to fill the void - which eventually leaves us with a weak squad. This will be the issue until Ashley sells up, in my opinion. We can never trust him to make the right decisions and lead the club forward as he clearly doesn't learn from his mistakes.
-
It's the Kinnear situation all over again. Ashleys supervisors tell him that Pardew is an old school manager who knows the game, Ashley believes it and thinks he's made a good decision. I'd seriously struggle to keep my motivation following NUFC if he continues his raping of the club. The frustration, anger and suffering that comes with it is too much to take.
-
Probably that little cartoon bear from the videos who told you this. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/8452/93531606.jpg? That's him! Is he not reliable then?
-
Friend of mine is a massive spurs fan. He says one of their infamous ITK's - someone supposedly reliable - reckons its a done deal and saying that he is "back in the premiership". Probably nothing in it, but I am actually sadlly getting my hopes up about this one.
-
Very attacking. At least if you look at how his Spurs and Hamburg sides played.
-
WHY THE f*** WOULD MARTIN JOL COME HERE!? Just saying who I want as manager, calm yourself down.
-
Martin Jol would be a decent option. Ajax don't seem too keen on letting him go though...

The "We Won't Win Another Game This Season" Fred aka Relegation-o-meter

Increasingly likely as Ashley seems to be doing the relegation-dance all over again.
