If Cabaye's still here, this one's ours. May see some sort of effect if he's gone. -

I don't want him to go. -
They're doing everything right at the moment. Honestly very jealous.

God we're boring. I used to be excited about transfer windows. Now it's only preparations of replacing our best players with players who seemingly aren't that keen on joining us while their clubs hate us because we offer fuck all for them. It's shit.
-
I actually believe we could be preparing this.

You've just described Craig Bellamy before he signed for us I was never a Bellamy fan, even back when he played for us. However i can't deny what a huge impact he had on us, was a perfect fold for Shearer. Saying this Long is nowhere near as good as Bellamy. How could you not be a Bellamy fan? He transformed our team from mid-table to one of the best in the country. Best signing we've made in the past 15 years. Bellamy and Dyer in 2001/02

It never did for a positive manager like Sir Bobby. Aye. Didn't loose a single game after returning from Europe in all of 2002/03.
-
Of course injuries affected us at times, but no matter who we put out, our football was fucking dreadful, mostly because of Pardew. Even after signing five players in January, it looked the same all along. Some of it was evident during parts of 11/12 as well.

Nothing new really, but further highlights what we've been learning over the past two years. We're contracting and minimizing costs thus have no need for greater revenue streams - which wouldn't go hand in hand with providing Sports Direct with the platform it has today. Simple mathematics. Lesser costs means we don't have to seek actual commercial income and can keep SJP/other spaces free for SD.

Could mean the point has some truth to it as well. They're actually struggling because of injuries. They're not Europe's #1 long ball team and playing Shola at RW and starting Jonas every game.

Pete O'Rourke @SkySportsPeteO 8 min Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse has turned down the chance to join Borussia Monchengladbach on loan. #NUFC

Aye, apart from a tremendous piece by a Swedish fan.
-
Class! Why does nobody in England know about him? Probably because he has spent his entire career in Sweden Swedish league is about on par with League 1, so let's not pretend he is an excellent player or owt. Great guy though (met him a couple of times), and he found his level here in Sweden. Like he says at the end of the article, it would be quite nice to see more British players try their luck here or in other smaller leagues in Europe instead of staying their whole careers in the lower leagues in England. Daryl Smylie is doing reasonably well over here as well, isn't he?
-
He'll score 5 goals and win a bronze medal at the WC this summer and then retire.

Anelka rightly charged by FA for the quenelle gesture.

He claimed he was trying to sell Carroll and Enrique to fund Ebondo and M'Bia for £5m each. -

Not in Abu Dhabi it seems. More concerned than about Cabaye. I fucking love Hatem.

"I've said for a long time we've lacked a modern centre-back, because you need that. In Luuk we've finally got that. In my opinion he's better at that than Taylor."
-
It's not about training ground improvement. It's about Pardew preferring defensively minded players. Same reason Ben Arfa isn't playing. Marveaux's useful in the nr. 10 role, we could do with him in home games. I think someone like Martinez would get the best out of him.

And then Robert scored from the following free-kick. Murdered the keeper's corner. Bo Hansen I think it was.
