Exactly. Whatever the particular reasons were, it was typical of his past 15 months. Any other club would've sacked him by now. What a f***ing state we're in.
-
Not THE main. A instigator of hoofs though. Pardew is fucking shit if that's what you're asking.
-
Simpson was a main reason for hoof ball, he could handle it, pick a pass, dribble past anyone or cross it. In possession, he was and is useless. He's defensively fine though.
-
He's a shit manager. Sack him.
-
Holy fuck that was bad. His worst game to date for us.
-
Can't fucking wait to see Hatem again.
-
was all down to injuries and yewrup and that mate, pards was a victim as much as anyone else, perhaps more so Nah I think that particular game was just a result of the fans' spying.
-
Never seen him behave like that in front of goal before Villa. He was storming towards the six-yard box several times. Got his reward as well, could have been played in by Cabaye in the 1st half too. A player with his ability who discovers a more instinctive goalscoring ability. It's frightening. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Exactly. Not really an alarming slide. He had a mare against WBA (2-3) and Spurs (0-5) in 11/12 as well. When we defend too hight he's vulnerable because of his lack of pace. That will always be the case. Mapou rectifies a lot of that.

One shitty little incident away from Williamson. I'd rather we played Good or Streete or whatever. Satka. Mbabu. All of them.
-
When was Colo bad last year? Arsenal at Emirates springs to mind, maybe Fulham away as well. But other than that? He was injured at parts of the start, had an absolutely monumental game in the derby (which we would have won had he not gone off), came back to captain us when we went on that half decent run from February until we played Southampton when he got injured (being superb at Kharkiv etc). Then came back again and saved us at West Ham and so on. Not on 10/11 or 11/12 form, but he wasn't bad. Also, playing in a terribly disoriented team with Williamson dragged him out of position all the time.

As long as we don't go after Benzema I'm fine.
-
On a second note, I'd honestly have Hatem over Hazard. David Silva, maybe.
-
Offensive midfielders in the league that I'd trade him for (excluding the affection I have for him): Mata Hazard Özil The rest: no. His aestethic perfection and imagination far outweighs the effectiveness and/or functionality of the rest of them.

Need to read this whole interview.

Forgotten how long Ashley's owned the club, like. Don't expect any journalist to get all facts right anymore. I guess you're nothing more than a typical NUFC fan having too high expectations.
-
Good intentions from Bird. He's come on a bit I think.
-
If he keeps getting into the positions he got into at Villa, scoring the goal and then completley open when Cabaye fired wide - he'll get way more goals if we continue to play well. Was interesting to see him attack the box in that manner, haven't seen that before.
-
He seems determined to fulfill his potential this season.
-
Routledge out Obertan in is fucking criminal.
-
So many fans love him. Spoke to a Liverpool, an Arsenal and a Spurs fan last Friday. All said he's the player you'd pay most to see in the whole league.
-
He's had to adjust his ideas to the players he's being given, pretty much. Sissoko as a battering ram was never going to be his plan yet again.
-
Best way to change things around would be to go Gouffran-Remy-Hatem. Rémy through the middle seems more potent than Gouff who's always looked decent as a wing-forward.
