The Apathyometer: Not to be confused with the Relegationometer.

2. If I get a season ticket I’ll be at 1. -
I am the crutch.

Agreed
-
Yeah I’m just being daft TBH mate.
-
Down to a 4 from 5.5. Would be lower if KT wasn’t out for the season. Only reason it’s so high is I fear more injuries and our fixture list gets touch again from March.
-
Fucking nightmare. Only we could come out of a massive win less likely to stay up than when the game started.
-
Oh, sorry, I see what you meant not. Bournemouth's Keegan...
-
We shit-housed our way to victory in the second half and I loved it.

Not helping yourself with this like

Notable, IMO. Shelvey was captain when Lascelles was missing previously. I think that means he’s losing his place to Bruno.
-
I think you can if you’re not fixated on the relative differences between the two, but they are.
-
Just throwing this out there but could it have anything to do with the development in Newcastle and the lack of it in Sunderland? A lot of their jealousy is down to that just as much as football.

Newcastle United vs. Aston Villa: 13/02/2022 @ 2pm (Sky)

It's fair enough because we're not very good. That's why I think today will be a big indication of how far the team have come so far under Howe. A good performance, regardless of result, and it looks promising. If we look rubbish for long spells though I'll be #worried. -

I think both teams were below par when they played us and neither of them had a striker. -

Agree with the sentiment. However, I’d just say that while Villa aren’t amazing, they are undoubtedly better then the Everton we played on Tuesday and the Leeds we beat 0-1. This is a good test of where we actually are right now IMO. Have we really improved enough to beat solid teams like Villa, or are we 17th for a reason that goes beyond Bruce? We’ll find out. Team selection is key here. One more time for luck, I think Shelvey and Lascelles, if played, will get the run around and we’ll see at least one of them replaced for West Ham. -
Yeah agreed on fitness. We’re very susceptible to one/two key injuries.

Agreed, we can win this and we should be looking to (I know EH will be). -
100% agree to disagree, I’m not trying to be argumentative with you at all.
-
Ok I can see I got absolutely nowhere with that attempt
-
And everything you’ve typed there looks like, might not be, but looks like an attempt to deflect scrutiny away from our owners. We can’t control who owns our club anymore than other fans can, but we can avoid engaging in debate which makes it appear as if we’re defending KSA based on the notion that KSA is NUFC. The two are separate.
-
Sorry mate, hypocrisy is everywhere. We’re all hypocrites, identifying it is not a sound basis for addressing anything really. Although mainstream debate on almost everything would have you believe otherwise. It’s basically really easy to identify hypocrisy, because it’s omnipresent, which is why it’s the go-to basis of argument for everything.

Don’t get drawn into defending KSA man On an absolute hiding to nothing.
