They're pathetic, like, almost feel sorry for them. Imagine having that mentality.
-
Weird. Had BBC Newcastle on last night and they had a report from his agent saying he'd just passed out.
-
Had begun to think hopes of the new contract were dimming due to the abysmal form. If he gets it they'll go down next season.
-
Good. Bring in someone useful
-
Are you alright?

I don't think you've grasped the concept of what a football forum is all about. It's not like we're that easy to fool either, it's only been where we've had pretty much the majority of the media and the players indicating that Rafa looks like staying that we've accepted it will probably happen. Speak for yourself
-
They've talked, everyone's happy, Rafa's pressing on with plans for next season and they're waiting for everything to be signed before going public. The only thing that will stop it now is an offer from another club that Rafa can't refuse.
-
Actually think the opposite. He's all fart and no shit. I think a lot mistake lack of ability for lack of effort.
-
I think he's shit and he massively impacts our ability to attack, but if Rafa thinks he can use him effectively I'll be cheering him on like all the rest.
-
Maybe, but that's a totally different discussion to 'why would he stay?'. We already know the answer to that.
-
I realise that this might come across as a really arrogant point, but we've endured years of humiliation so bollocks to it. I'd hate to be a supporter of a different championship team with promotion ambitions right now, faced with a Benitez lead NUFC as main competition

Beginning to cultivate a comb over
-
He pretty much said that on the Sky interview. He wants to know we'll come straight back up. There is no guarantee of first time promotion though even with a solid structure, but if Rafa is given full reign it gives us a hell of an advantage As soon as Craig Hope confirms it I'm putting as much as I can spare on us winning the league.
-
In addition, what everyone's forgetting is that he signed a deal for three years that only had a break clause that was dependent on relegation. Does anyone reckon he was going to go into a new season in the premier league without the control he wants? He's probably already got assurances on the majority of the stuff he wants, these meetings will be about confirming the cash flow in the championship.

33.3% win percentage seems to suggest otherwise. Better than Keegan's second spell over a similar length of time. http://i65.tinypic.com/34fmrf8.png It took Keegan about 12 games to rid the team of Allardyce's stink.
-
You are. You're wrong for all the reasons he joined us in the first place.
-
That's it fucked then, bye Rafa. It actually means the opposite. Why do you think he's chosen to meet him rather than leaving it to Charnley like he has done with everything else recently?
-
Was about make a post discussing my support for him this season and whether I'd trust him in the championship etc. Then I realised that if Rafa stays, I don't really need to think about all that; whatever decision he makes will be the right one.
-
60% now eh? Fucking Johnny come lately's
-
Which was always going to be the case....

Everything suddenly seemed to click for him after he scored twice against WBA in the cup. Remember when he came on against Man City at home and was a complete waste of time, everybody was absolutely foaming with him. I was one of them, that performance was a catastrophe
