What part of 'Jonas is shit' didn't you understand?
-
Better at what? working hard tracking back isn't the same as bossing the midfield area. In the middle you actually have to win tackles and headers, not just go down as soon as anyone comes within 5 yrds. All good points, but Tiote doesn't boss the midfield area. Jonas is shit, Tiote's weak points are more detrimental to the team in that position, imo.

Having a new manager will solve Jonas starting and Tiote headless tackling and running.... Isn't Anita better than Jonas in the middle? Cabaye Sissiko Anita if its a midfield Trio...Jonas just doesnt have the intelligence of instincts to do a midfield three. Anita or Marveaux as a 3 with Cabaye and Sissoko. Our bell end manager won't do it though, incase we concede some goals and lose some games
-
What it comes down to is that I can't recall Jonas having a bad game in the center of midfield when called upon, while Tiote's form has been in the gutter for the best part of 2 seasons now. Clearly Tiote has the better attributes to be a decent defensive mid. He doesn't, however, have the brains or temperament for it. Yeah, like I said, he's better than Tiote.

Re: the Jonas in the middle thing. He's better than Tiote, that's all it comes down to and why people want him in the middle.

Same here really, I wish the transfer window didn't exist. Oh really?

Much of the displeasure of the fans could be solved by appointing a decent manager who likes his team to play football. I'd be so much happier if the match was fun to go to. The reason he hasn't is because he doesn't want any pressure from said manager to improve the team, and he wants the fans expectations lowered. Which is one of the reasons I think fans staying away would affect things, if it was so inconsequential, why has Ashley appointed Pardew specifically to talk shit?
-
Again this comes back to you being content for Ashley to take his money back out of our transfer kitty. I'm not really sure what you mean by 'content', but I get what you're saying. I admit that I don't think it's unacceptable for him to take some debt repayments. Every regime in my lifetime has taken money from the club, at least Ashley only did after he'd given us a massive interest free loan. If he wants to take his debt after he's paid for a good enough striker and a good enough left winger and put a real manager in place, then good luck to him - if it helps him fuck off and drink himself to death quicker, all the better. Even you can't justify a penny taken before those three things are in place. I couldn't care less about the numbers if the team is good enough, I've said this many times. I simply do not give a shit. A consistently good team will always make more than enough money in other revenue to trump any debt they can build up without actively trying to bankrupt themselves.

It's a factor, it's not a vaild excuse for being shit all season.

Let's not forget that we didn't 'generally play pretty much our best team in Europe' at all, or anything close to it.
-
Exactly, don't understand all this Pardew hates Europe? He gave it his best shot, never neglected the cup and fielded weakened teams no matter the opposition. Fact of the matter is, that we generally played pretty much our strongest side in Europe and it did bare an impact on our league form and history tells us we weren't the only ones to suffer from it. Be very interesting to see how Laudrup approaches it. Do i want to be in Europe again next season? Course i do. Does Pardew? Course he does.

Ahh right yeah, I need the code too
-
How long until Bent turns out for Fulham then? Has he been training pre season?
-
who's been playing in defence for Chelsea pre season?
-
more changes
-
JW been playing pre season? I had him in at the start last season as he's great value if he plays.
-
Not sure about this one. Cazorla will get more points than Silva, but Sturridge is guaranteed first choice, whereas I think Lukaku may be rotated in and out. Is that based purely on Cazorla getting more minutes?

Scouting our own players?
-
Yep, I know. Bale listed as out for a month on physioroom though.
-
Gazzaniga still gets me Cech, Davis Saylor, Clyne, Garrido, Ivanovic, Dawson Nolan, Silva, Mata, Walcott, Huddlestone Soldado, Bent, Lambert Will almost certainly try and get RVP back in before the end of the day
-
Dzeko likely to play much?
-
Considering ditching RVP for Soldado, would free up loads of funds but feel like it's a bit of a gamble.
