He hasn't for months, it'll just be obvious to everyone then, rather than everyone that's been paying attention.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

Yeah there's some serious transfer bathing to be done over the next few days if all these deals come off. I might have a full day in the Turkish baths. -
Does that make sense? not to me, sounds as if TFC want to keep him now?

Can't wait to hear what Pardew does with this lads name
-
Yeah it does #ijustrepliedtoyourpost

His people are saying that his club forced him to sign a pre-contract with us? I thought they'd already said he had to go in January?
-
That moment where he bombed on and put it on a plate for Cisse was more than Simpson has ever done attacking wise. So glad we finally got him. This is what scares me the most. What an unbelievable deflection of criticism. Yes im sure every team would do better if they had every player fit and signed new players on top of that. You're a manager, manage. This whole season has been a deflection of criticism exercise for Pardew, he's had an absolute nightmare.

please remove this thread, it looks horrendous.

He's just turned 20, man Haha, I thought he was 22/23, I'm not sure where I got that from tbh. Having to work while browsing the forum is a pain.

If we get a striker in, even though we're on course for a poor league finish, at least this will show the players that we're willing to get the reinforcements in .
-
Fair enough, I didn't realise that.

I do wonder if Santon will be off like (I know, I know). Just seems like we're bringing in quite an established player, and he's not THAT young either. He's been a regular for his club, there was no contract issues. Time will tell I suppose

could yet be a really, really good window

Is he the sort that could play with Cisse in a 2? -
He never looked competent other than the goal in the cup, he's done nowt.
-
Just make Cabaye manager now.

The worst is 'so we are signing *insert Newcastle player here* with a smug face, me 'what?', them 'didn't you read the sun this morning!?' In the sort of tone thats like god don't you know anything about your team!!? "Do you reckon we'll be in for Defoe?" "Not a fucking chance" "He's a good striker though" "We've had this conversation a million times man"

Born and raised in a pit village where the blokes are generally fucking tough cunts. You get used to mixing and mingling with some right hard bastards but Naples was something else like. Was born in the mid seventies in Belfast and grew up through the troubles and Naples still gave me the shits I'm going to Naples in May to see Springsteen. Only got two nights there though, off to Sorrento for five days afterwards. Having read the last few pages I'm glad we made that decision.

Is this lad a good foil for Cisse? Usually play out wide or what? -
Again context, he's just taken off Marveaux for Perch and how was anybody in the crowd supposed to know why Cabaye had been taken off considering he was showing no signs of distress. Both substitutions were negative and both looked as if they were because we were trying to hold on to, firstly 3 points then a point. Both substitutions were for players who could attack being replaced with players who are more suited to defending and they weren't needed. Pardew could have swapped Marveaux or Cabaye for Ranger, Obertan or Sammy if he wanted us to go forward. Pardew had options even if he refuses to acknowledge that. Because it's just so so obvious that you don't take off your best player and only remaining creative force unless you really have to. I don't see how you could draw any other conclusion other than he must be unable to continue. I agree that a more attacking player should've come on mind - Obertan for me. It's equally as obvious that you don't take off your only other creative force if you're main creative force has just come back from injury. Things being obvious sense don't apply here, this is the bloke that starts Shola on the wing, leaves him and Jonas on for 90 mins, starts Cisse on the wing, abandons our best formation to keep Ba happy. Do I need to list anything else?

sorry lads I was just relaying my disgust at having to admit I'd take him now over AP.

A fellow NUFC supporter just asked me if I'd accept Dalglish as manager over Pardew right now. I had to be honest and say yes.

Weird is a strange choice of word. Bad, poor, shit, terrible, expected? Weird would suggest an element of surprise, however that substitution pretty much sums Pardew up doesn't it? Nowt weird about it, it's just shit management.
