That's an easy reaction, but considering we paid Alan Smith and Joey Barton circa £60k I can see why he would want more, and he deserves it. People feel Ba is the best striker since Alan Shearer was here, and even he was on £50k a week from 1996. I'd prefer Ba kept his salary at £40k or a bit over but was offered a large bonus per goal. The more he scores the more he earns seems fair. Nah fuck that, bonuses should be based on team performance.

We're absolutely f***ing s***, the TEAM is rubbish, that's a reason for him to play as part of an interchanging front 3. There's part of me wanting to see this 4-3-3 thing happen just so it gets put to bed and we don't have to read page after page of megaposts about it. It's unlikely to happen so why not just support/appreciate the player who's keeping us afloat? I support and appreciate him every week. What do you mean you want to see it happen? Our players suit it more by virtue of it being more about passing and moving and less about getting it wide and passing it long. I've got such little faith that he'll turn it around because this is the way he's been setting the team up for 2 years, all that's changed is the injuries but you cant have a style of play that leaves you so completely shit without a few first 11 players.

We haven't kept the ball, its embarrassing how bad we are at holding on to it. You keep it, you stop them attacking. Pardew is a fucking mess of manager at the moment. by all accounts it's not been a bad performance tonight and we've worked hard.....BUT, this run was fostered over the summer when Pardew compounded the lack of signings by not making any attempt to improve our football
