i've also been wondering this, surely his role is to beat the full back and get some crosses in from the by line? since no-one else in our team can do it. having said that, i've never seen him play this should be the game when we see nufc start to perform, get back to full fitness etc. i cant help feeling we'll be left frustrated though by a toothless performance up front. it'll be a draw imo. -

i can only imagine they stagger the kick offs to allow for over seas viewers? -
i've accepted we're not gonna see him get an extended run of games this season. that way anything better will be an un-expected bonus
-
i thought he gave us a threat in behind in the second half and did a good job carrying the ball 30/40 yards up field for us when we needed it/ he could learn an awful lot from jonas though in terms of working hard when he loses it and how and when to win free kicks. there was one moment when there was only 1 defender between him and the goal and he could've just motored past him but tried to meg him and fucked it up, frustrating
-
i also feel i should say he's been solid in the first two games, with the exception of a couple of missed headers. i'm extremely critical of him so it's only fair i comment when he's doing well. really hope it continues.
-
he was the source of the rumours though

Pardew said in the post-match quotes (or pre-match) that the club were working on two contracts at the moment. Hopefully one is Colo. i really hope it is, for the sake of the team. it would also go some way to convincing me that we can actually progress under ashley, which is quite a big deal imo.

Just read them. I wonder what they were singing in the dressing room? Lee Ryder tweeted about hearing the busker tune coming from the dressing room -
he shouldnt be going anywhere, simple as that.

wow, i agree the bigger picture isnt always rosy (especially with MA) but when you've just beaten the mackems away you've really just gotta have a beer and smile
-
eh? who got banned yesterday? and who on earth was negative after that game?
-
really looking forward to it like. at home to a team we should be capable of beating, coming off two really good results. we'll lose to a last minute own goal

i love him -
agree mate, i also wanna see Vuckic get a run out just behind the striker, even if it's from the bench
-
considering a LB and Striker come in, like most of the teams fighting for 7th-10th, stay injury free and we've got every chance. the striker's gonna have to hit the ground running though because we're looking a bit clueless up front imo
