Plays a lot like HBA, based on youtube vids at least. Imagine having both

^made it really easy to find him even without having any mutual friends.

You could be talking about Lovenkrands here. Why do we need another Lovenkrands? Just because Vela is 'young'? He's never looked out of place at Arsenal IMO. Vela or Lovenkrands? There's no question in my mind, I can't believe anyone would say any different. I've seen Lovenkrands play and not Vela. Until such time as I see Vela prove himself, I reserve my right to prefer Lovenkrands, especially given that my Arsenal mates have all said that they'd be quite happy to let him go and that they favour Captain Inconsistency himself - Nicklas Bendtner. Vela is far, far more talented than the likes of Lovenskrands on the ball, but he never ever looks like scoring when I've seen him. Sort of the epitome of Arsenal's weaknesses I think, but maybe he'll get better in a more direct team like ours. Also, he's 21 ffs. Is everyone meant to bloom early like Messi or Rooney to be any good nowadays?

Thank Allah for proxies.

Fair enough, but he should have been closer to the first team with no-one else who plays that position naturally. Throwing Perch in there isn't really any better though, is it? He's barely had any prem experience and has just had his confidence destroyed in the games he started in.

I'd have considered Ferguson, who would have provided some attacking ability at least. Has he been really unimpressive in the reserves or something?

Oh no you're not. Smith was cack yesterday, couldn't pass a ball 5 yards and was doing his 3rd centerback thing again while Tiote did most of the dog work himself. ... but it was a decent game by his very low standards. I thought he was actually going to score

Thought he controlled himself pretty well after that incident with Kaboul. The Spuds' players were clearly trying to get him sent off I think, by falling over every time he got anywhere near them and generally provoking him every chance they got. Having said that he does need to stop "learning" from the likes of Smith and play within himself a bit more.

Well, in terms of form yes, sheer quality... not really, he still isn't better than say, James Beattie was at his pomp. He swapped shirts with Crouch yesterday, blatantly wanted to trade places with him
