  1. Fair enough. Uhh, no he wasn't, especially when he was played in the same position. All he provided were similarly shitty floated crosses that the goalkeeper would claim every single time, minus the ability to carry the ball forward with any pace. I don't think Jonas played any worse today than say, a month ago but everyone seems to have gotten on the "Jonas is shite" bandwagon now.

They weren't that good, but we were worse and that was down to us, not them. Really? Everytime the likes of van der Vaart & Modric got the ball, Smith Barton & Tiote were on them in a flash. fyp
  3. Precisely, that's why bringing in another squad player would be absolutely pointless. Oh right, good point. More to do with my wording in previous posts. This striker needs to be a 'first teamer' then. back up LB, first team striker, first team winger in that order of priority. I'm a bit puzzled that Ferguson isn't getting a look in at all.

lovely saying that but who would you have played instead of them? Routledge, fine, but are you really going to try and justify playing Perch and Smith? <_<

Yes, yes and yes again (assuming Ranger couldn't start for some reason).
  6. Why is Loven a thumbs down? Granted his touch wasn't great but would any of our other players get into position he did? That last flick he had that nearly went in was pretty clever too. I'm just really bitter about that second goal. And rightly or wrongly, I blame him totally. ok
  7. Why is Loven a thumbs down? Granted his touch wasn't great but would any of our other players get into position he did? That last flick he had that nearly went in was pretty clever too. Customary Jonas defence: The only cross that got to Carroll today came from Jonas, and he did a pretty good job covering Perch.
  8. He's available for £0 these days, man, don't tempt fate. Still looks great on youtube to be fair, search for "Freddy Adu PAOK" If he's really available on a free... why not really?
  9. HBA? He'd prefer to play through the middle but still.
  10. Carroll is in great form at the moment, but I remember James Beattie being in a similar vein of form once upon a time <_<
  11. It would have been nice to have him on in the last 20-25 minutes, Guthrie was completely gone by then.
  12. What did Jose do wrong today to deserve the low-ish ratings, exactly? Didn't do much in the attacking sense but considering who we were playing he did everything he could have. Loved the part he nicked the ball off Sturridge, and stood over him with the "who's your daddy" look in his eyes.
  13. I wonder if the coaches have picked this up yet, but the main issue with his crosses is that they don't have a lot of curl on them, which you need if you're going to cross with your right from a deep-ish position on the left side. The solution is to tell him to cross more with his left imo, which he did against... Blackburn (I think?) and looked a lot more dangerous for it, because those crosses were much more difficult to defend.
  14. Yeup, his shitness somehow infected everyone else.
  15. My thoughts aswell... Maybe Leeds will take him back? Really harsh on Nicky Butt tbh, who could come out of retirement and still play better than that sack of shit.
  16. Was so bad I could confidently say I'd be better than him.
  17. Elmander must have been WUM-ing Mike and Colo all game long for both of them to have tried to assault him.
  18. agreed. webb is a cunt. his fault we lost today Assistant gave it to be fair.
  19. I blame Smith. His shitness has somehow infected everyone on the team. Also, FFFFFFFUUUUU
  20. Yeah, but they're just handing it to them on a plate. It's pathetic. True. Enrique has cost us both, no idea what's up with the lad. I know you hate him, but what? Enrique made Nolan handle the ball and made Simpson kick the ball into a Bolton player didn't he? Also, maybe it really won't be that bad an idea to put Colo in Smith's position and bring Sol on.
  21. It was just a brush really, when Barton was rushing on to the scene and MGP was walking away from it. If that really was the cause Barton needs to stop skipping his anger management classes.
  22. I think we'll go back to the ol' 4-5-1 for this match, with Shola out (probably?) and Nolan knackered the 4-4-2 isn't going to work I think. Given our options at CB I wish Hughton would experiment a bit; Colo at DM to lighten the load on Tiote with Sol taking over at CB, Guthrie in for Nolan and Routledge in for Barton, for a 4-2-3-1
  23. Well, at least Shola will be a bit more fresh for the Fulham match. Oh wait.
