  1. Being able to sub a trio like that on, man.
  2. Oof. So glad to have dangerous Maxi starting to make his return.
  3. Anyone but Murphy on the end of it though, man.
  4. Half time couldn't be more welcome. Time to regroup. No reason to throw this away.
  5. Big Joe's just trying to show Paqueta who Bruno's real best mate is.
  6. How the fuck are you arguing that challenge isn't a yellow.
  7. Can't say it wasn't coming. Now let's take control back.
  8. God its so sexy watching Eddie clearly impressing in the lads that there's room for improvement despite the score.
  9. Isak and Willock's replacements of all people our goalscorers, too. Eddie Howe - Genius?
  10. I want a fucking review! Far side looks like that could actually keep him on tbh.
  11. It still doesn't feel right hearing commentary call us 'the best defence in the league'.
  12. There probably isn't a more perfect picture of him for the occasion.
  13. It's probably a pessimistic view at this stage but I'm sticking 5/10, a 50/50 chance. I believe in the team and am proud of them either way but there's still relatively little room for error. We've been laughing at how shit Spurs have been by their standards most of this season, and yet they're still breathing down our necks despite the fact we've pulled out a comparatively fantastic season. One slip up and suddenly we're chasing again. Until we've made the games in hand count and actually start pulling clear my brain is simply too wired towards expecting a negative outcome. I pray to all the Gods I don't believe in that I'm proven wrong.
  14. In what way is O'Neill an 'experienced firefighter' anyway? How many relegation battles did he actually face outside of his few years at sunderland?
  15. Final day could be amazing this year.
  16. Are there still many players there from Lampard's first stint? I can't work out if it would be better or worse either way. I suppose they're just looking at it as a short term solution with someone who has a connection to the club for more of an emotional boost than genuine managerial quality. Could go either way. And I hope that way is complete and utter abject failure that leaves them finishing in the bottom half.
  17. It's really annoying that of all teams, they're the only ones that will have done the double over us come the end of the season. Especially as they were there for the taking on both occasions.
  18. Just realised it's Chelsea-Liverpool tonight. As dirty as it feels, I assume we're all hoping for a Potterless bounce to get Chelsea a draw at least?
  19. @Optimistic Nut Have you stopped doing that breakdown of yours?
  20. I know it's a small sample but I've had it in my head that they were way more off the pace than this when Tuchel was binned. Makes their decisions even more hilarious.
  21. If only you poor sods had the finances to build a squad over the last few years.
