  1. Jesus Christ. Those reaction pictures in the replies, though.
  2. It would mean being the best in England like it currently does. If some of the other teams want to become European teams, they are welcome to it. I'd rather be part of a domestic league that was about football than a European league that was all about money. Yup. I think people would get over it pretty quickly tbh. At least, fans of the clubs that don't join Europe. I still don't fully understand how it would be viable in the long run, though. The same European teams competing over and over will get boring, surely? How much of a travelling contingent will you realistically get week in, week out, which would affect atmosphere? It's all well and good relying on the TV money it produces but I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see clubs running back to their domestic leagues in less than a decade. Unfortunately, you know the arseholes in the FA would welcome them back with open arms. It would be properly s*** if your club did it. £100 tickets, crowds that were 90% tourists and not being able to do away games. A bit like following a plastic glory team like Barca or Real Madrid. The novelty would wear off within a season imo. Would love it if teams' respective FAs told them to get fucked if/when they came crawling back.

  4. Good. Tra to lot of them. Less money in our league is good for hounding out Ashley. Fingers crossed it's a step too far and begins modern football's implosion.
  5. Genesis Teamwear do have an agreement with Puma. But I had a look at their website and our shirt isn't on there as a template; would've thought if we did it though them it'd also be a standard template available to others? Couldn't see any names on their Companies House that looked like a link to Ashley either. Of course, I'm not too up on that stuff and that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't involved.. But yeah, can't see it myself tbh.
  6. How exciting. I can't wait to see what equally corrupt people they replace the corrupt scapegoats with in their 'shake up' to rid the sport of such shame.
  7. That still image is enough to not watch watch that prick.
  8. what? so he plays a video game at home for a couple of hours means he has no idea what's going on? He literally was at the meal where the protestors were. He also said HIMSELF Ashley should be giving Rafa money prior to this. He's not a teenager who's just broken in to the squad. He's a 24 year old now in his third season as captain, who has happily ripped his teammates to shreds previously, spoken out against the owner's running of the club and lead players in to battle against said owner for their bonuses. And now we're supposed to believe he's just a naive upstart who has no idea what our fans think? I won't ever be able to see it like that.
  9. I really don't know what he expects tbh with that last line. Analyse afterwards? When is that? After the next loss? After he's left in the summer? After relegation? After what?
  10. Five reactions in less than ten minutes. I won't bother with my reply.
  11. That forum won't be able to handle the size of that image before too long.
  12. My earlier thoughts. Rafa is a diplomat. Lascelles is a sell out. Those sort of comments would be rightly derided if they came from a former player. What are the chances such 'diplomacy' is planned in advance on the day he signs this new contract? It's so transparent its unreal, man.
  13. I honestly didn't think I'd care come the morning. I hate him even more now. Says it all that this is the most emotion I've had over the club this season.
  14. Could we be close to forming a hefty XI of such arseholes past and present. Lascelles, Jenas, Shola, Bellamy.. Anyone else?
  15. Whoever that fan is, is a hero. Im sure poor Mike will be passing over the details to the police like he apparently does every time NUFC fans 'threaten' him.
  16. It'd be so satisfying if when the lineups are announced over the tannoy his name was met with silence.
  17. this is my first thought as well, no one employed by the club is ever going to say anything resembling criticism of the owner There's a mighty big difference between slagging the owner off and outright becoming one of his lackies at the sight of a few extra grand or a transfer promise.
  18. Standard Ashley apologist shite. When it's treating them well they love social media. Now it's not all as positive, especially having turned to the dark side, they don't have time for it. Shame nobody then asked if all his fan-loving tweets/Instagram postings are just a sham posted by a PR guru and heard him squirm.
  19. Petty maybe but I would genuinely like to see the flag not get an airing in protest.
  20. Shepherd wasn't the smartest and was guilty of siphoning off the club but at least he tried to improve the club, even if it failed miserably at times.
  21. N-O Pro Tip: never switch directly between the Brexit and Ben Arfa threads. Brain meltage ensues.
  22. Saw the coin and 'keeper punch on the news and thought they deserved it for how they reacted; you'd think they were trying to get an opponent sent off. Lennon even more so now I've seen the goading beforehand. Such a derisable cockend.
