  1. 'Their fans are celebrating that [insert common football match occurrence here] like a goal!!!'. No. They're not.
  2. Can't believe Bale is 29 in July. Still think of him as 24/25. Can't believe he still has that fucking bun, too.
  3. Was that supposed to be a drop ball?
  4. Love seeing the contrasting opinions re the likes of Juve and R Madrid in this thread at the moment.
  5. Some clubs work on a set basis, ie: Tues 1 May @ 10:00 - 100 points Tues 1 May @ 14:00 - 90 points Wed 2 May @ 10:00 - 80 points Wed 2 May @ 14:00 - 70 points etc. etc. They release the dates for all of the point drop thresholds, including member and general sale and it’ll either get that far or it wont. Allows people to plan ahead too, rather than waking up randomly to see it’s dropped to 0 points. This sounds good. Again, only a member's POV but it's bloody tedious checking daily for two or three weeks just for it to never reach members.
  6. £50 on Benzema and Muller each 1+ shot on target @ 3.10. In by the 31st minute; thank fuck for that.
  7. As someone who's wasted £30 on membership a few times now to make some matches, I think the system is fine apart from charging to be a member. I can't think of a fairer way personally than the current loyalty points system for season ticket holders. The problem begins with the membership angle, which has always smacked of the club sniffing an opportunity to make more money with 'fans safety' as their excuse.
  8. Neither do landed 'punches'. https://www.thesun.co.uk/video/football/west-brom-defender-ahmed-hegazi-appears-to-punch-liverpools-danny-ings-before-swiping-egypt-team-mate-mo-salah-in-face/ To be fair, whilst the intent was there, it was about as vicious as a couple of primary school kids in a school playground. Likewise for Slimani.
  9. Eh. Cheers for the helpful cameos. I'm unsurprised at the charge but it's still hilarious that it's deemed 'violent conduct'.
  10. Definitely getting to the Portman Road showing. Cheers for posting Nobby.
  11. Especially with our "world class" manager. You've got issues. If having 'issues' is telling it as it is then yes, I have issues. Sorry, the Rafa appointment hasn't excited me much but the football in the main has been pretty bland, dull and in the main utterly shit to watch. There's some think it a mortal sin to even contemplate that Rafa could be criticised. Your issues are more to do with getting off on being an internet WUM. Not exactly the most grown up thing to do is it ? I assume you teach lessons in a Noddy car. Calling yesterdays performance 'fucking garbage' is WUM? Is it really? Seems the few I've read on the thread after my post who suggest they actually attended agree with my sentiments entirely. And I'm puzzled as to what my chosen profession has to with anything? Haven't seen you around these parts for a while, been on holiday or something? I've been here - watching - waiting.... At least you admit you only dare post when we lose because you've absolutely nothing productive to contribute.
  12. BT Sport only just started showing the match thanks to fucking rugby. Anyone seen it? Deserved?
  13. Koulibaly sent off after 9 minutes!?
  14. Amazing effort. What do you reckon the cash out at HT would've been? God knows. Four correct results on 100% would've been £3,500 so maybe about £8,000 I'd guess, eking over five figures if it was 2-0 full time? I was only playing for 20% by today after my cash outs so maybe another £1,500 at HT? People with better cash out knowledge than I can come and correct me.
  15. Can't grumble. It was a wild ride; I'll never get four correct results again.
  16. Fuck. I was going to cash like fuck at half time.
  17. Gutted that they've got the chance as I'd have obviously preferred the three points yesterday. But what's done is done and I'd love them to pull this off, or at least take it to the wire on the last day. Show Pardew up for the scummer he is.
  18. Yup. Looking around the site last night I discovered a bit more how Pools work and can see that of anyone that can still get all six correct, I'm the only one to go 1-1 on Man U-Arse. So if it did come in I wouldn't have to share it. Getting ahead of myself? Maybe. Edit: Just realised I half-asleep made this point last night.
  19. Yup. I've now taken a total of £1,300. £100,000 winnings to ride.
  20. I've worked out Pools betting a bit more and worked out that if the final two results came in I'd be the only winner as I'm the only one to go 1-1 for Man U-Arse. I think I'm going to cash 30%, a further grand. That's approx £1,300 out of it leaving £100k to ride. 2-0 Celtic just seems so potentially realistic that I can't help but want to leave some going for at least that match.
