I may have rage placed £25 @ 10/1 on BTTS, over 2.5, 20+ booking points each team, 7+ Man City corners. All I need in the entire second half is three Man City corners.. Get your money on two or under Man City second half corners.

All good, joey. Never knew Giggsing had become such serious shit, is all.

Congrats on editing your post to add the congratulations eh? Wolves weren't officially promoted at the time you posted your post. Your original post just said wew, 1-1 fulham then you added the congrats bit in later then Giggsed me What a dick move. Was gonna leave it cause who the fuck cares, but since you posted this I'll clarify that I edited it like 10 seconds after my original post time (hence it not saying "edited at xx:xx" or whatever) when I realised it. He posted his comment 2 mins later Is Spurs-City that boring, lads?

This is exactly what it's about. You pick a team, not a group of 11 individuals. If Rafa feels the team is better off with someone other than Mitro in it, then so be it. It doesn't necessarily mean he thinks Mitro is "worse" than Joselu or Gayle, it means (in his best estimation), the team is better off as a whole with one of those two (presumably based on who the opposition is and countless other factors), on that particular day/game. Obviously it's a decision made in the best interests of the team. But the fact is, Mitro has scored boatloads for Anderlecht, Fulham and Serbia (seems to score almost every game at international level). It's not unreasonable to assume he could do so for us, but Rafa has decided it's not to be. He prefers strikers that basically don't score (but provide other needed team-work and attributes) to a striker who would score given enough time in the team, but one who does not contribute in other ways. Most people think strikers who score consistently are worth their weight in gold but we'll never know if he could be that for us because he was never given the chance others have enjoyed. And if you think he's wrong for that then that's your prerogative. It's my prerogative to trust that Rafa gets more out of this team as a whole without Mitro than with. Like I said above, I know I'd be on your side of the argument if it was any other manager but that's because aside from Sir Bobby and Keegan, we've not had a manager in my lifetime whose vision I trust. But Rafa falls into that category for me and for that, I'm disappointed it's not worked out for Mitro here but I equally have faith in whatever reasons Rafa has for not playing him.

 Cracking.

wtf? So banter.
-
Didn't even realise the award wasn't specifically for the PL.
-
I might put some on them to finish top ten depending on how their transfer business looks.
-
Happy for him. I found the move strange as I didn't think he'd manage to become a starter in central midfield which is what he was after, but he's proven himself and then some. Strange to say it but Arsenal are an absolute mess for a a player's individual progression these days.

If this was under any other manager I'd be furious. But it's Rafa. And I trust Rafa implicitly. He's gotten this squad to tenth FFS. If Rafa doesn't think Mitro would work for what he wants to achieve with this team, then I trust that.
-
Fucking furious. Had Liverpool win, over 2.5 goals Salah to score and under 12 corners. Of course there's been exactly 12 corners.
-
I know they've been down a few years previous but it still doesn't seem right to see Southampton drop out of the PL. Same if it were West Ham, except it'd be a fuckton funnier.
-
Bit harsh to include our game when he wasn't in charge and forget that two of the other three were hard fought battles against Arsenal and Chelsea. Can't believe you just made me defend Mark Hughes.
-
Everyone thought they were down before this round of games. There's one less game to play and the same amount of points to make up, with Wolves and Fulham thrown in for good measure. It's all but done.
-
I thought this. Miffed why folk are chuffed Bolton scored. Because I wanted the Bolton lead that just came.
-
This is the main reason I fear them still surviving. I bottled putting a bit on them at 12/1 recently and it would be an apt summary of my betting season if they survived on the last day.
-
See. Stimmler told you all they'd survive.
-
This kind of bottling could be massive for their remaining games.
-
Wow. Southampton's arses well and truly fallen out.
-
Just ordered.
