Really? Oh dear
-
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wigan_athletic/6718427.stm "Other clubs were very interested and it speaks volumes for us as a club that he has chosen to come here." Yes, yes it does.
-
Oh dear, that's gonna be everywhere down here.
-
Wouldn't mind but for no more than 6m. There's probably 5 other MGP's out there waiting to be found though, I reckon Sam could unearth one.
-
He's got a long neck, always good for a defender.
-
Happy about this but I'd be a bit more happier if I knew we replacing him with someone better than Barton.
-
tugay? are you serious? im pretty sure he is about 33! we have already got emre, who was always hindered by parker imo. Hmm, I think Emre and Tugay would do well. Let Tugay just sit back and play it about whilst letting Emre go forward. Obviously he couldn't manage every game and would probably play second fiddle to Butt, which Parker was doing anyway. Like a said at least he can pass and will get create opportunities. Maybe for a year or something. Just looking at different options, I'd honestly prefer someone like Tugay for a year than Barton for three or four years. Edit - and well if he really is that old then maybe not I wasn't suggesting Tugay and Tugay only, just his type of player.
-
What an excellent bit of business that is. Don't get bluddy Barton though! As someone said - Sidewards step. We could do worse than Tugay for a year or two imo, someone who can play that killer ball.
-
Read Sneds post Oooh, so it's not out then.
-
Is that Inter one out yet? Like available to buy? And how much does that bloke look like an Indian version of Micheal Owen in the Stuttgart away shirt
-
I wouldn't buy that, looks like a training shirt.
-
Yeah, same. Wouldn't mind Arsenal away either.
-
Hmm I can kinda see where your coming from regarding Roeder and Allardyce being able to 'sort players out' but I just think we've targeted and bought players like this before and this exactly the sort of player we should be avoiding. I'd rather get someone reliable, maybe McBride perhaps to be the target man in the system you talk about. With Gudjohnsen just behind. So, no I wouldn't want him at Newcastle.
-
Bonera is a shadow of what he used to be IMO. Would rather Taylor next to someone like Hyypia/Ben Haim. Oh and and I forgot to say... THANK YOU
-
Didn't Man Utd want Senna at on epoint?
-
Compared to Bramble, Taylor, Ramage & Gooch I doubt anyone can say they won't be happy with them, for this season at least.
-
Hmm I think it'd be a good signing for a year. Hyypia, Ben Haim, Taylor and possibly one more rotating sounds good.
-
I think Martins to a certain extent is a luxury player, but because he's all we've had this season he was expected to do the disciplined role like say Shearer's, which he can't do and so therefore has looked a tad shite as some points, I'd like to see him upfront with Viduka. So he doesn't have to link the play up or recieve with his back to goal, that's not what he's about imo. I'm looking forward to seeing him in a good partnership next season, then I think we'll see what he can do.
-
I just want to see a decent game after the FA cup fianl shambles. A decent game where Milan are attacking in waves and scoring six would be good. cheers
-
I want to see Beckham win it as well, deep down i bet hes regretting his move to the US I still think he could be a main player in Real's team if he stayed, there's still a good two years in him imo. I think he should go to America, but it just seems a bit early to me.
-
I think it's about time Fulham went down. Got a feeling Spuz won't do aswell as they did this season. And I think we'll finish about 8th.
-
Yes he can be a cunt, but as soon as he would start winding up other teams fans for us, he'd probably become a ledge.
-
Nice, nice. Wouldn't object to any of them. Funny how times can change, 3 weeks ago I'd have been depressed and dissapointed going after someone like Lareya Kingston, but now I'm optimistic Sam will make him into a decent player for the club.
