We don't seem hungry to win the ball back anymore which is horrible to see. Players not backing each other up in the press or after a 50/50. When they broke from our corner, I want someone to win man or ball in their half. Not back off 60 yards.

A change of system and tactics. What we're doing doesn't suit one of our personnel.

He and Thiaw have held us together this season.

Tortuous watching us attack.

I don't like Tino in this inverted role. Looks uncomfortable.

The thing I really worry about is his lack of anticipation and ball watching. He's a complete liability in broken play.

The formation and style of play needs to change. Our way of playing is incredibly predictable as we've been doing the same thing for 3 seasons now. The biggest worry for me is we still don't look comfortable retaining possession and moving the ball from back to front. We're always on the edge of a panicky touch or pass due to indecision. That shouldn't be the case so far into our evolution.

Our ball progression and general attacking play is abysmal and has been for a long time...

Gordon and Wolt been very poor. The formation/system is asking for trouble as well.

I don't actually mind sitting on a narrow lead late on. It's just our way of doing it is crap. Flat midfield with players finding pockets of space in front of the defence. It looks poorly coached if I'm brutally honest.

His vision and passing is excellent. Him in a freer role would really benefit our build up I think.

I'm sure he'll end up being half decent all in all but 45m makes it a poor transfer. Adds nothing we don't already have.

Good half from him. Smart use of the ball and excellent for the third.

Our centre backs are scared to push up the pitch with him in goal due to his lack of ability on the ball. It creates a huge systemic issue where there's acres of space in the middle of the park when we press up the pitch and the opposition work out they just need to bypass it by going direct.

Shades of us booting it up to Joelinton when he first joined and taking ages to work out it didn't work. He's a pure footballer in a team of limited poise and technique. It's a recipe for him to struggle. He'd be class for Arsenal or City.

Dismal.

Headbands and peace and love is ruining him. We need our scally back.

My main worry with him is he seems to have lost a yard of acceleration and pace which is the biggest part of his game. He's also lost his bite which seems to have coincided with all the talk of reading books. Gone woke perhaps?
