Some pace at centre back is looking critical in the summer imo.

Some of our defending in transition has been a bit #worrying the last month or so.

That would be a great signing for them. Think he's class.

Long term the concern is that he seems to be best as a counter attacking player with space to run into. We're already seeing teams come to SJP and sitting back. I don't see that he has the technical skillset to be that useful in these games. Similar to ASM.

Thing is I think he was only ever meant to be a stop gap at left back. Some good performances kept him in the side but it's now clear we need to upgrade that position. Ideally he becomes cover for the CB/LB next season. I'm not sure where that leaves Targett though.

Concerning drop off. Really thought he'd tear into them today but he never got going.

Both goals Tripps was sleeping unfortunately. Can't really get away with that if you're trying to push up the pitch and press.
