Totally agree. What they've been at for far far too long is basically fraud. I'd throw them out the league. Completely. But that isn't practicable or realistic for fairly obvious reasons, already stated above.

Celtic had a lot of debt because of the expansion of Celtic Park in the 90's. but they were still struggling like rangers are now. So its a classic case of karma for all the gers fans who were laughing at Celtic during that time. What goes around truely does come around. Karma? What the fuck are you talking about!?! That's taxpayer money that Rangers are fucking about with there. That's schools and hospitals at stake. If Rangers go under, so too will the SPL. And Celtic fans will have the smug grins wiped off their faces quick smart when Sky/ESPN pull out of the television contract and the money carpet is pulled from under their business viability too... Hadn't thought of that though, had you thanks to being a blinkered sectarian bigot...

Excellent point made there too by Pat Nevin: the SPL tv deal will fall apart without Rangers being part of the equation. If Rangers go out of business, the whole SPL will find itself cash-starved. That will impact on the rest of Scottish football too...

Listening to BBC Radio Scotland debate just now, I have to say I agree with Graham Spiers who says that tax avoidance has given Rangers a colossal advantage...and that is just plain wrong. Never mind 10 points deduction, they should be relegated and I think HMRC will make a proper example of Rangers.

I blame David Murray, he let Advocaat run up those wages and transfer debts knowing that they'd never recoup their outgoings. In so doing, he's left Rangers Football Club (much like himself) without a leg to stand on.
