wasn't the 100mill loan written off and it was just the up front 100mill (or 80mill if reports are true) It was decribed as a no/low interest loan in the last accounts. Maybe a way of offsetting the cost might be to sell the associated land that the Club owns. Although I'm not entirely certain that any land might be included in the deal when Ashley bought or now if he sells. Perhaps someone might know more about this land issue. Wasn't it mainly the old brewery site and the land above SJP Metro station that was earmarked for the Casino/Hotel.

I'n not sure how NUFC can be valued at anywhere near £100m. And take into account Ashleys £100m he loaned the Club and you are easily looking at it being a £200m outlay. Id actually be worried about the sanity of anyone who would agree that NUFC is worth anywhere near that figure. Consider also that if by some miracle this rabble of shite that are currently masquerading as management and first team squad do get promoted then it isn't beyong the realms of possibility that it would take close to another £100m to establish ourselves in the top flight. So it gets close to £300m to right the mess that Ashley has made. It isn't going to happen. Ever!

Probably something to do with walking out on us for a second time and trying to bleed the club of 10 million, which given our current situation, is really s***.
