Absolute wank so far. Long ball shite. -
Would it be wrong to refer to the stabbed Mancs as The Holy Trinity? It is Christmas after all! Eyeties are fucking cowards though.

When Cacapa got found out you would think that would tell him all he needed to know about 30+ year old Brazilian defenders.

I've a spare Toon end ticket if anybody requires one. -
More accurately he was under a manager intent on ridding the squad of all natural talent.
-
Get him back to show our current dead ball expert how to take a free kick. Free kick coach.

who the fuck do you really think you are calling him a thick twat for not recieving some random flick-ons from smith? some people on this forum are quite amazing... You started badly but finished quite well.
-
Not going to get half the reaction in there though is he? I think its a valid point. I think its a typically negative point. His was a typically negative performance. He was without a doubt the odd man out on Wednesday as he was the only Toon player not to raise his game. Geremi? Ok, I'll settle for the draw.

Like having a Bramble up front you mean?

Alan Smith has his best game without doubt and comanded the airial encounters winning more than his fair share of flick ons - Martins, the thick twat never even tried to position himself once to recieve the flick on. One glaring example was the throw in that went straight across the 6 yard box brilliantly won by Smith and thick boy nowhere near getting onto it. Hope he's been told the error of his ways for tomorrow

And could be in contention for Saturday if all goes well. SSN just now.

I need about another 8 and i'll DEFINITELY be running a coach. I can likely provide about 7/8 tickets for anyone wants to go and hasn't got a ticket.

I'VE A SPARE FOR TONIGHT IF ANYONE WANTS ONE. £15 ONLY. -
A complete back 4 - again.

And your opinion is? Do you agree that Given was very slow off the mark - he only took a small side step. Taylor chased a ball bending away from him and made the ground.
-
Shay Given would NOT have saved that. Taken from about the same distance out only difference was Bale swung it in with his left foot - the ball would have entered the net at the exact same place as Bentleys. The goalkeepers 'starting' position was identical. Taylor covered his ground easily and Given didn't. Anyone who thinks Bentleys was 'unstoppable' should compare the two and think again. Going back to the Citeh away game I would also say that if Given had positioned his wall to stop the direct shot (from 30 yards) then there would have been little chance that the ball could have been lifted over and not made the keeper an almost cert to save it. My own thoughts are that Given just isn't as complete a goalkeeper as he was pre injury. Yes he can be a brilliant shotstopper but he just lacks that edge and he has NEVER controlled the back four or commanded even the six yard box as he should. Whoever is manager come January 1st I would like to se a keeper brought in who can seriously challenge Given for the shirt. Someone unlike Harper who will be dropped as soon as Given is available.

I'll run a coach if there's enough interest. Anyone fancies it send a PM
-
SEASON OVER! Might get a draw.
-
Or our 'keepers have had their achilles heel firmly exposed. As someone else aid yesterday we suffer more than our fair share of 'unstoppable' free kicks/long range shots.
