As I said in the other thread we need fitness levels improved - to the standard Keegan had us in the first season in the Premiership. Our relaive success then was being as dangerous in the 95th minute as we were in the 1st. We ran out of steam today.

We have to accept that NUFC have provided the (Southern) Press with all the ammunition they need which ultimately makes their backslapping articles all the easier for them to write. Sadly we have an image that is totally self inflicted. Ashley now must break that trend. Personally I'd rather NUFC were the most hated Club in the country because that would mean upsetting the recognised order of things - where the 'big 4' are the be all and end all for the soft Southern wankers. I'll happily admit to having serious reservations to Keegans return I'm also well aware of the rollercoaster ride the Club and its supporters are about to go on. Fuck me its the 3rd time now I've seen Keegan arrive. A lot on here will only have the video (DVD) Without a shadow of a doubt though he'll get my full backing (for what it's worth). I just get a horrible feeling that it'll be a fantastic short to medium term future (especially if Ashley backs his man) but think reasonably and you just know this charade will turn full circle eventually.
