  1. Poch has stated that he never got over our 5-1 win last time out and that it ruined his whole summer. Apparently, first day back of last pre-season he was still seething about it, and bollocked the players after he felt that they all disappeared for int'l duty after the last game and he hadn't got it out of his system. Safe to say, he'll have them 100% up for this one. Tough game. I'd snap your hand off for a point.
  2. I hope he gets on well with himself, he deserves to. 'Rafa's a good bloke. A bit argumentative at times. Well no, he's not, I'm wrong'.
  3. Ashley also clearly not happy with a fat wage bill for players who get no game time hence the 'sell before you buy' line. Risky business. Rafa would've probably (and rightly) expected to be trusted to shift out the deadwood AFTER the first four were threw the door. Ashley, being the worlds biggest fucking ego, thinks he knows better and wants it done his way. There will be a constant clash of ego's here until either Rafa leaves or someone else buys us. Let's pray for the latter.
  4. Hope someone locks him that fucking glass box at our place, pokes a piss hole in the top of it, stick some ladders up outside it and let 52000 Geordies piss in it. Have the smarmy fucker tie in a box of warm piss.

  6. that takeover shit has died a proper death i see, so it was either bollocks in the first place or they've talked to the wretched cunt and walked after hearing his 'demands' rafa is literally our only hope Agree on both points. How anyone would be mad enough to enter into any partnership with Ashley is beyond me. It would literally be a nightmare. To even entertain that he'd cede any control or authority in practice is crackers. It's a full sale or the eventual loss of Rafa. They're the only outcomes here.
  7. We desperately need Ashley to sell over the next 12 months to have any hope of him staying in the longer term imho.
  8. He was incredible that game. Not just that though, it seemed like every week he was making last-minute saves to secure the points for them. Cantona got all the credit but Schmeichel was probably more influential overall. The bastard! This all day long. Schmeical was their most important player that season, and in particular in the final third. He was incredible. We dominated them in their 0-1 win. We were much the better side. If we'd have got a draw there, I think we win the league.
  9. Perez from Arsenal, Illarramendi from Sociedad and Reina would add dramatically to our spine. Quality throughout as well as loads of experience. I'd break the bank for Illarramendi if he would come but appreciate it's massively unlikely. Maybe the Spanish connection may give us a tiny chance though. Would also allow us to ship out about five lots of deadwood to fund a bit of it. Mitro, Colback, Diame, Darlow and Krul.
  10. . Everything triple checked and checked again.
  11. Poor f***er that took him to court was paid £1m originally and he's been hit with over £2.5m worth of legal costs. Almost nailed on that he was in the right too. Poor c***. Guessing it's not that nailed on as he lost in court. No coincidence that the guy validating Ashley's view is the current Sports Direct Chairman. 'I didn't hear anything Keith, did you?' You do realise that very wealthy people, with very expensive lawyers, have a habit of winning in court in situations where you or I would not likely be as successful, right?
  12. Reckon this guy is going to be ace. He's the type of signing I've been wanting us to make.
  13. Poor fucker that took him to court was paid £1m originally and he's been hit with over £2.5m worth of legal costs. Almost nailed on that he was in the right too. Poor cunt.
  14. Take Aguero, guarantees goals in this league even if coming off the bench. Think they'll both start in a 3 with Sane, Jesus being pushed wider The Man City midfield is a nightmare to predict. Literally could be 2 or 3 completely different combinations of top players.
  15. Lejeune looks like he's just sharted in that pic. I like all 3 kits this season. All solid 8/10's for me.
  16. Boro innit? I'm offering shorter odds on villa. What you offering young Amoebi?
  17. Will inevitably be a clash of two big ego's with one winner. Our only hope of Rafa staying long term is a change of ownership.
  18. Hardly watched him, hull fans appear to rate him though. Whats so bad about him. On the few occasions I saw him last season he looked much better than the Crammy Cabaye. More mobile, better range of passing and generally more aggression.
  19. Proper loved Hatem but can't help but thinking 'never go back' would apply here.

I'd say we are buying more potential than the finished article at the moment, I would prefer a more experienced winger tbh. Don't know the lad but, on the face of it, it would look quite the step up to go from a 'decent' season with Championship Norwich to a starter in the Prem.

    Is this kid any good?
  22. He's unreal and so out of touch. This tubby cunt was in the right market at the right time and just happened to be shrewd enough to make billions. Hardly say he was in the right place at the right time. He created the opportunity. That sector had seen nothing like SD before nor since. He blew the competition out of the water with his model. Kids (or rather parents) spend much more on sportswear now as a result of SD than they did before because he's created a value for money offering that just simply wasn't there before. Say what you want about him but you unless you've started a business, grown a business massively, developed a brand, floated a business and then ran a PLC as a majority shareholder (all whilst becoming a billionaire) then you can't call him lucky ffs. You simply do not achieve billionaire status with luck alone.
