Before the Brighton game, I looked at the next three fixtures with real trepidation, saying I'd snap your hand off for 5 points from 9. A draw therefore would be more than acceptable to round this little run of fixtures off nicely. A win the icing on the cake and a defeat not the end of the world.

The question now is whether Brighton will do a Norwich now or not............ I commented at the time that there would be quite an adverse mental impact on Brighton after losing. It was their biggest game in a long time. They genuinely expected to win it. Statistically everything favoured them once they were leading and it was late in the game when things turned. It took more out of them than just a defeat. Chris Hughton has his work cut out right now. As you say, it's not just the loss it's the nature of the defeat. Last minute, no opportunity for a fightback, all very debillitating imho.

that much better than what we've got you think? looks average to me I've seen him a number of times, in the flesh, and he's a really good player. Definately capable of making the step up and very very steady. Edit - we bid for him during the summer before last and many clubs hold an interest. Fulham have also made lots of bids for him but not been successful.

Reading is a fucking nightmare, traffic-wise, and imho the worst place in the country to drive. Never have a straight forward journey through, into, via or passed this fucking place.
