Nobody better than the manager who is breaking club records for how bad he's doing? Yep. WAT I think we could get worse and it would probably happen. Worse than the worst ever points haul at this point in pl history for the club, worse than 2 wins in goodness knows how many games ? Seriously it can't get any worse than right now. The squad we have should not be getting the results it is getting the way the manager lost us the last game should be evidence enough to show he is simply not up to the job. But if you want further proof look at his last season at west ham, the man will get us relegated, the only possible way we survive is if we make a change, any change. A half competent manager will have no problem securing enough points with the players we have. Again, I can see us getting in worse. That isn't saying Pardew is doing well, it's saying I have absolutely no faith that the board will get a quality manager in and I think 'anyone would be better' is complete nonsense. Can you really see Pardew turning this around? if not then what have we got to lose in trying

  5. Yes - they don't even need to recruit Carr on a bigger salary, they just watch who we bid for, then trump it. I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I did say in the summer I was very uncomfortable about the amount of media Carr was doing and the attention he was bringing to our scouting system... Also the way others at the club including AP were bragging about it almost... I felt then this would be the result of it all and it's proving to be so... I couldn't name a scout at another club and before Carr I wouldn't of known who our scouts were... Yeah, Dennis Wise certainly kept a low profile.... He wasn't a scout... He was taking recommendations off 2 agents... He done his scouting on youtube
  6. As has been said the amount of money some have makes winning the league virtually impossible, so I would say consistent top 6, win a cup, and actually enjoy watching us week in week out

Horseplop. Citeh, Manure, Chelski, Ar*e all have non-football men running the club but they are all prepared to spend big. The rest like Reading Scumderland, Villa have the same non-footballing men but aren't aren't prepared to invest... same as Cashley. The game has changed.. it's now a business/billionaires playground. Rubbish They might have billionaire owners but they arent running the clubs they have the likes of Ivan Gazidis (arsenal) David Gill (manu) Daniel Levy (spurs) doing that, weve got a casino owner You mean Daniel Levy the businessman, David Gill the accountant and Ivan Gazidis the lawyer? I mean Daniel Levy He is managing director of ENIC International Ltd, an investment company, sports, entertainment and media group, and replaced Sir Alan Sugar as chairman of Tottenham in February 2001 after ENIC bought a controlling stake in the club. ENIC is controlled by Joseph Lewis. Levy was formerly a director of the Scottish football club Rangers, in which ENIC held a significant stake. ENIC has also in the past held stakes in other European football clubs including AEK Athens, Slavia Prague and Vicenza as well as non-football companies such as Warner Bros and Autonomy. David Gill was finance director at Manu in 97 and has been promoted several times to get where he is. Ivan Gazidis in 1994 he joined the founding management team of Major League Soccer, becoming in 2001 its deputy commissioner. He oversaw MLS's key strategic and business decisions and its marketing arm, Soccer United Marketing, of which he was president. He also helped promote the Mexican Football Federation and the CONCACAF Gold Cup All have football history before becoming chairman, what has fuck has Derek Llambias done apart from being drinking buddies with Ashley

Yeah it's completely gone, so much so that we showed absolutely no spirit or fight at either old trafford or the emirates. Have a word No coincidense that Marv came in for an injured Jonas (everyone could see that should've happened months ago, except Pardew)

There's a great deal of complex thinking and preparation that goes into a match of professional football. Go read a book or something. Have you played? You can tell me to read all the books you like, pouring too much thought into other teams and their tactics and worrying about what they are going to do is not a good thing imo. Don't get me wrong, preparation is key. Vital in fact, but it has to be preparation to play to YOUR strengths. This is what I mean, it's a simple game it really is, don't spend days worrying about opposition. I agree. I think you've got to know the opposition, know how to exploit them and how to stifle them but do it in a positive, constructive manner which focuses on your own teams strengths. You've got to do both really, play to your strengths and stifle the opposition. You're teams "strengths" also don't exist in isolation, you need to analyze how they interact with the opposition's qualities so you can leverage them for maximum effect. Either way, in no way, shape, or form is top level football a "simple" game. That's honestly just something fans make up to slag off managers and players. Of course its simple, play players out of position, hoof, hope for individual bit of brilliance, hoof, panic, make unfathomable subs, hoof, have prepared excuses ready, and repeat

If he cant switch things in a couple of hours what chance has he got during a game, explains his shit subs etc He could have changed it, but what about the players? Would they be comfortable with an entirely different set of instructions, for a different position, a couple of hours before a game? He made the right, if unpopular, call last night. and paid the price Well, aye. I don't know where this attitude that we should be beating Everton, currently 5th place, anyway. They're having a fantastic season, and had their stronger players available. We're on a terrible run, and missing our key players. I'd have been happy with a point last night. The next three games are massive. A minimum of 6 points is required, and I think we'll get them. I hope you're right, unfortunatly I cant see us getting 3, unless Pardew changes his tactics/selections etc
