Dover is only half hour from me, sure I've played on that pitch Yes you have
-
On the plus side, at least I actually cared about the game.
-
It makes you wonder, with that being the objective, how deliberate was that 2nd half of the season

Cant/ wont compete in cups, I assume that means we wont try to go for a Europa place either, just in case we get relegated, Priority is just to stay in the PL and thats it, Any decent manager wants to at least try and win things so we are stuck with Pardew as he fits the remit perfectly. Ive asked myself what exactly is in this for me, hope of maybe eventually winning something?, getting into Europe? maybe even being remotely entertained? the answer is nothing except being totally pissed off with the whole situation Well fuck em. Im out, Ive wasted too much of my time on these cunts.

Couldn't give a fuck if we had a new one every 6 months, sooner or later hopefully we'll get a good one, so if that's what it takes so be it.
-
We'd all like a quality manager, but its got to the stage now where I would take absolutely anyone over Pardew at least I could have some kind of hope then, and actually want us to win instead of this 'I couldn't give a fuck about the club' that I feel atm (well at least for a while anyway)

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread
dilligaf replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
He says as he proceeds to put a glove on his right foot and shove his left shoe up his arse. To be fair, if he was in the dugout that wouldn't have happened. -
Delude or gullible? Neither. It's pretty obvious what he's trying to do as far as I can see. He's trying to be Mourinho... distract and deflect. For a while I think it worked. Now it doesn't. I don't see what's wrong with that statement. You are joking right? He's always blaming the players in one way or another. "we lacked quality" "We didn't have enough good players on the pitch."
-
It does for me now

Anyone know why .com's down?
-
Well I wasn't too fussed about watching, but now its, must see car crash viewing.

"We have played three teams - I know you could argue Southampton weren't above us at the time, but three teams in that top half. "We have another one on Saturday and I think it's fair at the moment that we have been a little bit distant from them and we need to close that gap." So he wants to close the gap with Stoke?

That's mint. It's a good idea. But couldn't they have filled the entire thing up with things he's actually said? Blame Europa League Blame Lack of Energy Blame Shola not on Bench Blame Agents affecting players Blame Negative reaction from the crowd Blame Lack of Energy again Blame Europe again Blame Notting Hill Carnival Blame November (without November what a great year we had) Blame Too much energy Blame Everything seems to be going against us Blame Europa League Blame Kick off ("It was all good up until when it kicked off") Blame Their keeper for making 2 good saves Blame Europe again Blame Linesman slipped Blame Linesman again Blame Not enough good players on the pitch." Blame Oppo's "move the ball so fast" Blame Arsenal for making a bid Blame The tactics ("The formation was the same today, the set-up was the same but we looked not the same.") Blame Oppo's Tried, ("for them it was all about passion, running and closing us down and trying to capitalise on our mistakes. That’s all they offered.") Blame Science ("it’s science against me") Blame Cabaye Sale ("We looked a little bit different, but in a good way. This club is never going to be about one player.") Blame Cabaye Sale ("A lot of the play went through Yohan, so we’re going to have to change our style. We haven’t played well.") Blame Lack of Quality Blame Lack of Energy again Blame Lack of Quality again Blame Previous loses, these are just the post match blame game

Pardew "This was a tough, tough game, make no mistake. We were really under the cosh with the power of that team." Southampton? ManU? Everton? Sunderland? Man City? No it was the mighty Morecambe Which incidentally HBA saved Pardews arse when he eventually came on
-
Thank fuck we work on defence 4 days a week, fuck knows what the score would have been if we didnt
-
Im 56 years old and over the years and at different times weve had to put up with shit players/owners/managers, the lot, but never have I been made to not care what happens on the pitch, so for that reason alone I would say Pardew is the worse
-
JFK s job wasn't to buy players it was to give Pardew PR lessons.
-
"But we have become a very functional team now, and that's what has really got to get us through until such time as Loic is back and Mathieu is back and Tim is back." "If we were a boxer and that was our last fight, we might have had to sit on that performance for six months, so in some ways we are lucky and hopefully we can capitalise on that with a good performance." Well do ya feel lucky?

I think he cares a little, but only because it doesn't bode well for next season. If he didnt care then he wouldnt put himself through the shite served up lately. That's whats I cant get, If he didn't give a shit why bother sitting through the crap we get served up, Im sure theres better, more enjoyable things he could be doing
-
Which explains why we're not interested in the cups, heaven forbid we get into Europe
