If we are not trying to win the league, not trying to get into Europe, not trying to win a Cup, If just staying in the PL and making a profit is the target, what's the point? Football is about hopes and dreams, take them away and there's nothing. Id rather be a yoyo club at least you'd have something to hope for.

someone's edited the wrong bit

Come on lads, why all the negativity, after all's said and done we are still top
-
I don't think he got us knocked out because of orders from above but I do think he got us knocked out by piss poor team selection and tactics.
-
What's the difference if its on a Sunday? its still 2 and 3 days between games
-
What are you on about? I said I would accept a defeat (or words to that effect) if it meant him going, that's not hoping we lost you moron. All the same really. Accepting losses and i'm the moron Is it fuck

As good a result as it was, I cant help thinking that if Tiote hadn't picked up a knock and that if Jonas was available, Anita wouldn't have come on and Gouffran wouldn't have started, and that second half just wouldn't have happened That will be the test for Pardew, who he puts out when everyone's available. I've still got absolutely no faith at all in the man

I'm just hoping this rumour turns out to be false personally. Cardiff like it or not are one of the weaker sides in the league, home or away we should be looking to impose our style on them and make them adapt to stop us but because we've got that inept cunt in charge we are going to drop our best player because he wasn't at his best when played out of position the game before. Typical fucking Pardew the whole team had a bad first half at Everton not just HBA but he's singling him out and making an example? It's funny how it takes countless shit games to drop Cisse but HBA has two and he's out. If their was a help fat mike pay off Pardew fund i'd chip in. Does anyone know exactly what our style is

Im more expecting/hoping for a different kind of termination

Don't think anyones said he'd be a step up, more one down one to go
-
Id rather take a punt on anybody atm in the hope that they might be better, even JFK. rather 'might be better' than the definite shite under Pardew

It is to me mate. I don't post on here for your benefit. I'm bored at work. Likewise, no one posts specifically for your benefit, which is what you're looking for. I think everyone's just fascinated by you because you're a walking contradiction. He's a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, Taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.

Have I got this right? Llambias gave Pardew an 8 year contract ? Ashley wanted to sack Pardew last season ? If so it would seem that there are no clauses in Pardews contract and we'd have to pay the full amount if we sack him, would explain why Llambias is gone and JFK is here. So we are stuck with him till he resigns or Ashley finally decides to pay compo. wont be for a while yet

And we'd still be a better option than Leeds Are you deliberately twisting this, You asked 'what makes people think that we are a bigger club than Leeds' and I told you.
-
Leeds FFS 1st they'd have to buy there stadium and training ground, then increase the capacity, then fill it consistently get promoted, replace the whole squad etc just to get up to us. We are a decent owner and manager and a couple of players away from being regular top 7

I don't know if you've checked lately but I think that was taken 5 years ago

How much has been spent on players since Pardews been manager? just wondering how much you have to spend on players to get relegated

I never mentioned anyone not renewing for financial reasons. Other people brought the cost factor in to fit their agenda as they knew deep down I was right. Family and paying the bills always comes first. My point still stands and that was that if every supporter took a hissy fit like many on here are doing and stopped attending when we weren't playing well or because they didn't like the manager we wouldn't have a club to support. Thankfully the few cowards on here who want to stop going because things aren't great are vastly outnumbered by those who'll stand by the club during the thick (and many) thin times. Nobody has said they want to stop. Many have said they're considering doing it because of the cost-benefit of the football and how much they enjoy it and whether it is really worth it to themselves. The financial side of it goes hand in hand, and if you think the people posting in this thread aren't motivated largely by that factor then you're being very naive. Of course its the reason. If we all had infinite cash to burn then nobody would even think twice about going. Football isn't like most other forms of entertainment meaning entertainment isn't guaranteed. This seems to be a concept that yourself and many of the new "sky generation" of football fans don't seem to be able to grasp. If you want guaranteed entertainment for your money, football isn't for you I'm afraid. If youre 35, then you are the "sky generation" mate Been going since 83, season ticket holder since 89. Daft thing is back then it cost next to nowt to watch NUFC. £45 was the price of my first season ticket, albeit a kids one. Now people are whinging about the costs yet the attendances have rocketed since those days as the sky generation pack stadiums out demanding to be entertained and then spitting the dummy when they're not enjoying it as much as they thought they would. If you gave up your season ticket in 2010 after 19 years that would be 1991. Sky sports started 1991, and going on about being entertained, Keegan joined that season as well.

Well there's three fucking retards on this board at the minute. They're entitled to have their opinion, but just what the hell are they thinking when they see how bad we are. It's just ridiculous to think he could turn it around or deserves the chance to. We just lost to two of the teams most hated by us, actually not beaten, slaughtered. Are those results not embarrassing enough for them. Probably the 3 that really count Ashley, Llambias and Pardew
