I mean Ziyech played a full World Cup and has been involved in all the Chelsea squads since his return, he’s also got proven ability. Surely a loan deal till the summer then we reassess targets depending on where we finish is a sensible play?

Again it’s because a loan deal for him is less of a risk than big money on Gordon.

He’s still looked and played better for Chelsea than Gordon has for Everton, what ill saying is that a loan deal for Ziyech is much less risky than big money for Gordon. Gets us to the summer where we can revaluate our options based on where we finish.

I like the idea of signing a decent winger on a loan deal rather than spending upwards of 30 million on a decent winger. Not sure what the issue is with that ?
